Chapter 233: Enduring

The cookout was relatively entertaining and fun. The children changed into their swim trunks and played around the kiddie pool that was made for them as the parents discussed among themselves as they watched them.

They all exchanged gifts with one another and didn't open them until they were in their own homes. There was no way Ramona was going to allow someone to dirty her house.

The cookout was slowly coming to a close so Cardan looked for his parents with Wren before going to his grandmother. She didn't want them to leave that soon but she understood and let them out on their way.

The two left and as soon as they entered the car Wren closed her eyes.

"Tired" Cardan chuckled after making sure her seatbelt was on her properly.

Wren could barely open her eyes "It's the children they sucked away all my stamina" she grumbled with an annoyed voice but a tinge of adoration could also be heard from my voice.
