Born Again In Pokemon With Six Digimon Starters

Pyrite Serpentine, an avid fan of monster taming games woke up in a room that he did not recognise. There was nobody else in it, but there were six strange creatures sitting on the floor beside the bed. He recognised these monsters as Digimon which were in the in-training stage. He found this strange, but approached the Digimon which began to follow him around. Unlike in the games and anime, they did not talk but did seem to understand what Pyrite was saying. Despite being very confused, he went down the stairs connected to the room and out of the downstairs area to find that he was in Striaton City which meant he was in the Pokemon world, and more specifically, he was in Unova.

Pyrite could see the list of potential options for Koromon in his mind and they were in a list.

1: Agumon

2: Guilmon

3: ToyAgumon

4: Dracomon

5: Hackmon

6: Shoutmon

He already knew which one he wanted to Digivolve Koromon into and thought of his choice and Koromon's new form emerged out of a flash of light.

It now had become larger and was in the shape of a small bipedal dragon which was greenish-blue in colour with a white underbelly and orange wings and horns. The choice for Koromon's Digivolution which Pyrite had chosen was Dracomon, a fire attribute Digimon.

Next he put his hand on Tsunomon and a list of options appeared again.

1: Gabumon

2: Gabumon (Black)

3: Goblimon

4: Zubamon

5: Veemon

6: Monodramon

Pyrite decided on his choice and in place of Tsunomon was a Digimon with light blue fur with dark blue stripes on its arms, head and ears. It also had yellow legs and a yellow stomach with a light blue diamond shaped area in the centre with a pink pattern on it. The Digimon also had a sharp horn on its head and pink claws at the end of its arms. This was Gabumon, a fire attribute Digimon.

The third Digimon which he Digivolved was Bukamon which had the options of:

1: Otamamon

2: Gomamon

3: Syakomon

4: Betamon

Once he decided, the Bukamon had changed into a four legged Digimon with individual claws at the end of each one of its legs. It has green skin with blue patterns on top of it and a white underbelly. It also had a large orange spine sail on its back. This was Betamon, a water attribute Digimon.

After this, Pyrite touched Yokomon and the options appeared again.

1: Elecmon

2: Biyomon

3: Mushroomon

4: Wormmon

As he knew what he wanted to choose, he immediately confirmed his choice and in place of Yokomon was a predominantly pink bird Digimon with yellow legs and dark pink claws on its arms and feet. It also had a dark pink beak as well as blue patterns on its tail and its head feathers. This was Biyomon, a wind attribute Digimon.

Right after this, he chose Tanemon's digivolution from the options:

1: Palmon

2: FanBeemon

3: Lalamon

4: Renamon

He made his choice and a lime green Digimon with purple hands and green claws appeared. On its head was a large pink flower which sat as though it was hair with a yellow inner area which had a yellow and red stigma in the centre. This was Palmon, a plant attribute Digimon.

Finally, he put his hand on Nyaromon and its Digivolution options appeared.

1: Armadillomon

2: Terriermom

3: Salamon

4: Lunamon

He made his choice and in place of Nyaromon was a small white bipedal bunny Digimon with huge ears which had green patterns on them. The Digimon had a green pattern which looked like a neck scarf. As well as this, it had a small white horn on its head and small black claws on its hands and feet. This was Terriermon, a wind attribute Digimon.

Now that his entire team had Digivolved into Rookie rank Digimon, he decided that it would probably be alright to challenge the first gym as long as he did not need a permit or anything similar.

He made his way to Striaton City again and went up to the gym building and was met with no resistance. When he went inside, the man at the entrance greeted him, "Hello, I assume that you are here for the gym challenge."

Pyrite replied, "Yep, can I just participate?"

The man responded, "Of course, unlike some other regions, you are free to challenge the gyms at any time you want as long as you have the gym badge before it."

"Thanks for letting me know."

Pyrite walked forward and solved the first puzzle by stepping on the large circle with a water symbol on it. The curtains in front of it were pulled open and Pyrite walked forward and was greeted by one of the gym trainers.

It was a man dressed as a butler with brown hair who spoke to Pyrite, "I'm the first trainer of this gym, and I'll be the one to stop you from going further."

He threw out a Pokeball and a lillipup emerged, and in response Pyrite ordered Biyomon to go out into battle. The gym trainer told lillipup to use tackle, and it attempted to run into Biyomon. However, in response to this, Biyomon flew up slightly to dodge. Pyrite then ordered it to use 'sonic void' which sent out multiple circle shaped almost invisible, thin rings which hit into the lillipup.

This pulled its body in multiple directions at once and caused a large amount of damage which made the lillipup unable to fight. The trainer returned lillipup to its Pokeball and handed Pyrite some Pokedollar notes as he had won the battle.

Pyrite walked forward onto the circle with the grass symbol on it which caused the curtains to open and reveal the next trainer. It was a woman dressed as a maid and she spoke to him, "You have to go through me if you're planning on taking on the leader."

This trainer threw out two Pokeballs at once and a patrat and a purrloin emerged. This was different to the games as the battle was normally a one vs one battle. However, this did not matter to Pyrite as he sent Dracomon and Betamon out together.

Unlike the previous battle where the lillipup had gone first, Pyrite told his Digimon what to do first and Dracomon shot flames out of his mouth towards the patrat. This pushed it backwards and set it on fire which fainted it.

His Betamon also attacked by running forward, jumping onto the purrloin, and releasing electric shocks into it which immediately fainted it as it went from being paralysed to being unconscious. The trainer retrieved both of her Pokemon and Pyrite walked forward and stepped on the circle with the fire symbol. This opened the final curtain and revealed the three gym leaders who performed their act before stopping on Cress, the blue haired water using gym leader.

"Welcome to the final challenge of Striaton City Gym. I am Cress, one of the three gym leaders in this gym. I will now test if you are strong enough to receive the first gym badge.

He sent out a lillipup, and Pyrite sent out Terriermon which he immediately ordered to use 'terrier tornado'. It flapped its ears like wings and a small tornado was sent towards the lillipup which immediately knocked it out. Cress retrieved the lillipup and sent out his panpour.

Pyrite commanded Terriermon to return and sent Palmon out instead. The panpour used water gun, but Palmon defended against it by using 'crescent leaf' which made a large leaf which cut through the water gun. It did not stop there though, as it continued going until it hit into the panpour.

This knocked it out, and Pyrite won the battle. Cress retrieved his Pokemon and spoke to Pyrite, "Very well done, you have trained your partners well. I hope you continue doing so and defeat more gyms in the future. I must ask you though, what region are your Pokemon from? I have never seen any like the ones in your party."

Pyrite replied, "I'm not sure to be honest with you. All I know is that they're going to help me become champion."

Cress responded, "If that is the case, then my curiosity must end here. I present you with the Striaton City gym badge. Do you have a badge case, or do you need one provided?"

Pyrite replied, "I would appreciate it if you gave me one."

Cress handed Pyrite a badge case, and he put his first badge into the slot, "Thank you."

Pyrite left the gym and went back to the building which seemed to be his house as nobody else was in it when he went back. He decided to rest for a while before continuing his journey.
