Welcome home, monster

the morning rise and I wake up with the sky on my eyes... "wait, where am I?" I look around and notice the dragon that was my bed "oh you awake now? you shouldn't sleep after being dead for 1 year y'know?" 1 year? I've been dead for 1 year? "how did you come back though? weren't you dead?" "I was revived by the goddess and as punishment, I guess I'll never die?" "oh! a goddess huh? guess this world is still full of mysteries... first magic now heroes from other worlds..." "heroes from other worlds?" this is news "yes, from what I have heard from other dragon clans, they are people that comes from other world" (no sh*t sherlock) "... any more information?" " yes I heard that they come from the world earth, they're power is immeasurable, it's like they didn't have power to begin with but they're using it like they know how to, 'it's like a game' is what they said but what's a game? and they use language unknown to every race, I guess that's proof enough that they're from a different world" interesting, I might use one for experiments if the time comes "anyway what we're you doing in the monster den?" "monster den? wasn't that the place we lived in?" "yes, it was but after the incident, the heroes we were talking about suddenly appeared and monsters from different places sprouted" (*note, monsters before the war massacre incident were nothing but Ursas, Boars and Leos but Devil monsters like Goblins, Corrupted Ursas and such are generated with mana which is a rare material and resource to the Laplace world meaning the incident created what is known to the heroes as the RPG era). so because of the heroes, the world is now in utter chaos. "wait while I was away I never found a single monster, why is that?" "This kind of monsters are originally made by mana essence which is common from the border graveyard, news about it is that the mana is slowly overflowing and invading the lands" wait isn't this bad? if more mana comes then monsters like those from the myths might just invade every village "there are currently about 100 victims from monsters most of them are killed, raped or tortured to death or depression, it's a poor sight really, they have to rescue those trapped within areas where monsters form tribes which in many cases results in more victims" "I see... this is a problem..." so where I was sleeping was a monsters den... since it was nearby the incident monsters started camping inside "honestly I was more surprised of how you also lived through that but guessing from the bleeding stomach you didn't notice then I gotta believe that you're immortal" oh!.. didn't see this.

a few hours go by and I was delivered to the Luna's encampment. "are you sure I'm alright to stay?" "not until they agree" every single one is a dragon, 10 of them to be exact, they're all staring at me with murderous eyes. "Young princess, why are you guiding, a Demonoid with you?" "I'm sorry for this elder but this is my friend Kirin, he was killed in the incident and reborn by the Gods" "... Is this true?" I nod my head, I could take them down but a more reasonable approach is much better "yes, I was tasked to kill my creation before anything else happen and this was all asked by the gods" "... are you telling the truth?" "Whether you believe me or not is your choice, I can't give any proof so trusting or not is the only decision you have" scary... scary eyes... "well I do not see a single lie in your eyes so you're free to go but I warn you, anger one of us and feel the wrath of the dragon tribe" It's like what Luna said when I first met her... irrelevant info! "thank you for your kindness..." "Kirin, please head to the house I'm currently living in, it's in near the center with a flag of a flame with a diamond symbol" It's like the biggest one, that could've been a better explanation...

a few hours have passed and we both talk about nonsensical things, really great having a friend always with you around... "hey Kirin, now that you're reborn, what do you want to do now?" odd question what else am I going to do? I'm going to kill my own... child... "killing your own child must feel rough for you but you can also order someone else to kill her for you right?" right... but "you think I can find someone capable enough to kill that monster? even if the heroes are strong, I can't trust them to do my bidding, I am a devil to the human Eyes" "you're worrying over nothing, the heroes don't mind if they're human from what I know, some of them wants to live here while some wants to be the strongest but there are also some that want to go back to their own world..." ... wait... if they all we're summoned here then it wouldn't pose a problem but didn't you say that they just 'spawned' somewhere?" "did I say that? well practically yes, I carried a hero to the Human race called the Ivanne Kingdom and from what I heard from his story 'I was on a jeep and fell asleep then when I woke up I was already in a grassland area' and then he hears a prompt out of nowhere and like some sort of guide? at least that was what she said" if my theory is right... then the mana is making some portals from another world? I don't know... hmm... did Luna look this beautiful when I last saw her? silver eyes, shining black hair with a slender body, (small babbies, b-cups) "stop looking... is there something on m face bothering you?" "oh! sorry, never knew how cute you were when we were living together... are you alright? you seem red?" "I-Ill be back, please don't look for me" hmm? I guess she can't take flattery

it has been a long time since I had this much fun... well I guess it's a way... but I feel like I'm missing something "oh if you're talking about the man you adopted, he died quickly after your death, he really was your pet huh? he died of starvation" huh?.. well that's unavoidable... could've been used for other purposes but is death is as useless anyway... "you need a bath too. you stink" right, no bath for god knows when is bad...

after everything, we head over to the cave we were living in "Hey Luna, any more information on the whole otherworlders spawning? "well I did bring one to the kingdom of humans. I believe her name was Mariel Roberto, weird name if I say also how she was summoned here" "note that summon and spawned are two different words." "yeah yeah... anyway there's new weaponry in the human civilization, I think they call it guns? the person who made the first powerful gun was an otherworlder but they don't want it to be known to the world, also it seems it's not a magical item, it uses iron? I believe and it can pierce almost every material except dragonskin" I see... "so are these guns... if we believe it can pierce everything except you and not a magical item then..." "I don't get technical things so I try not to pry any further or I think my mind will explode." I don't know about these kinds of weapons but having one for experimental reasons might help understand this otherworlders...

we return back to the cave and as we expected there are monsters everywhere, ogres... "only ogres?" "yes, they turned this area into their den but they seem peaceful.. we can probably talk to them..." these ogres look like barbarians but their armor and weapons are different than ours... "Luna... can you talk to them?" we need to take this peacefully or we'll just kill every single one of them... "yes... I have talked to them from the past when you died, they knew I was much more powerful than they are and from what I can tell they want a place to stay since they both have some ogres pregnant." "can monsters even give birth?" "yes but devil monster, most of them need concubines of different races, they take some humanoids and use them as a way to reproduce" I see... although since they are monsters that spawned on mana they also need to reproduce... I saw this on a book on when I was in the Demon Kingdom. 'devil monsters... although monster made of mana and birthed by mana can't reproduce to multiply... they may respawn when they die, their number stays the same and the only way to reproduce is; A. kill more humanoids to increase the mana abundancy of the world or B. reproduce via kidnapping other humanoid races' "there's also some information on ogres but they're a different being to demon monsters, they can reproduce themselves and actually talk to other races peacefully... they are welcomed by every race but not those humans, they still treat them as monsters." "I see..." "anyway, they already know we're here so we can just walk in just fine, I think they attacked you by their sleep since you were intruding and just waltz in like you own the place" "well... that's half-truth" it's true anyway we do own the whole place... "they won't attack you don't worry..." all these stares... they see me as a threat but since Luna is here they won't attack "they may be a bit secluded in their own tribes but they're peaceful like I said..." an ogre speak gibberish I don't understand but Luna seems to talk to them normally "... .. don't worry, they won't be wary of you now..." an ogre... feminine looking... "I welcome you to our tribe, I'm sorry if we have injured you but you seem immortal so we will follow your order if you continue to live here, we will serve you as our own master if your orders are possible for us" "I... okay... do your own, don't bother me and I won't bother you, I will ask for assistance if needed, continue to your work" the ogre bows and walks away, seems like the residence here in this cave has increased, Luna was a dragon so this cave is big enough to be a home for a few more groups.

it has been a few hours since I came back to this village... these ogres seem to be living normally for devil monsters. "can I ask for assistance here?" an ogre starts walking in my way, they do seem to follow me so can rest assured that they can protect me. "can I have a sample of your blood? don't worry, I won't ask for more just a few drops" he cuts his own hand, a slash across his hands. "thank you... you can go back to your tribe now..." after the bleeding stopped and healed he goes back... that was some recovery ability... "I have a question for you all, what do you all eat?" they look at each other confused... did I say something weird? "we eat normal meat but if it's needed we eat anything, we ogres have the ability to eat anything no matter what kind of food, if poisonous then our ability to heal will override it..." I see, if this ogre blood can be used properly then I can make another being much more intelligent than Parva "Okay... I'll give you all the resources to live in this cave, rest assured that I won't betray you, what I want is all of you to protect yourselves and me in the future and another person in a few months." they nod and I begin my cloning device, it's been rusting but it's easy to repair, after restarting I notice a few people just outside the cave entrance... "what are their purpose here?" I head down and startle the party, of course hiding the fact that I'm a Demonoid "what are you doing in my homestead?" I try to scare them off but seeing that I'm also human that wouldn't be the case "sorry! is this where you live? we were dispatched to exterminate the Ogres here by the guild master." he seems reasonable but there's one problem... "he's a Demonoid, a corrupted being from the books, I can sense with my detect" "wait really? then I'll ask for forgiveness later, please step aside or face our swords..." no other choice then... I chant my usual spell to summon my corrupted form, and display the gap of our power "...please don't let me kill you, these ogres are peaceful and don't want to fight, I ask you to leave my premises so no one gets hurt" they sheath their swords in response to what I have said but one seems to be unreasonable "you think we will listen to some demon? face my wrath! Lightning Slash!" wait!...

that surprised me thankfully my Hades' hand is invulnerable to any kind of attack "I-impossible! how!?" "I'm sorry but please listen, I don't want a fight just sit down..." their eyes widen by their surprise, it was fast, lightning-fast but seeing how I was able to defend against it they step back and listen "I don't want any problem here okay? but first... you're an otherworlder aren't you?" surprised, they widen they eyes again... how wide can they get? anyway "seeing as how rare magic is to the normal human race I can see that you are an otherworlder but... are you all otherworlders?" "y-yes... we are, three of us are, I'm Frederick, the one who attacked you was Erik and the one in the back who knew who you were was Gaston." they seem normal, "okay... I'll ask this again, don't attack this area, we have everything under control and Ogres won't attack unless provoked, please understand that they are Demon monsters capable of speaking with other Humanoids." they nod and walk back and regroup, guess I have to warn them...

the Ogres here are peacefully living in this area, if I break my promise I'm afraid that they will be hostile to all races and they're the only Ogre tribe right now so I gotta be careful about what I do.
