Chapter 2

The door bell rings and my security system gives me the ID of the person Standing behind the door

" Phillip Turner" the system beeps I quickly grab my gown as I just came out of the shower I head towards the door and open it, Phillip walks past me not even waiting for me to invite him in ,he's carrying a big brief case he places it on top of the kitchen counter

"well hello to you too Phillip" he turns rubbing his hands

"Sorry Bonnie but I had to carry that two ton all the way up here anyway Good morning Bonnie"

I smile at him sheepishly Phillip was rather sexy, with a buff body and brown hair his cologne would send any lady turning to face him

". Sooo... that's all mine? " I ask pointing towards the case,

"yep all yours !" he turns pressing a code on a pad on the case after a few beeps it opens up slowly revealing guns, tranquilizers and all other girly gadgets , I shriek as I draw near them, I pick up one of the guns ,Phillip quickly grabs it from me

" Bonnie be careful with that toy." I look at everything as it is perfectly placed in its position Phillip starts filling me in on every gadget and gun there, he also gives me a code for the case after he's done he gives me a body suit I stare at him

"gosh Phillip you really expect me to dress up like a ninja". He laughs hysterically after he's done he points out

"Bonnie Luther strictly wants you to wear that suit apparently the territory you are about to trespass has heat sensors so that suit will cover your temperature that way no one can detect you." I sigh

"Gosh this mission seems to be very delicate, I mean Luther hardly gives me so many toys to play with"

A phone vibrates it's Philip's

"hello, yes she's standing right in front of me,okay" Phillip hands me the phone , I take it

"yes" Luther's voice booms from the phone

"Bonnie I have back up ready just in case you have trouble. " I close my eyes and sigh

"geez Luther this is not my first mission nothing won't go wrong I swear besides you picked me for this assignment so take a chill pill" I retort , I hear heavy breathing on the other side of the phone, I can tell that Luther is pissed off ,

"Bonnie don't say I didn't warn you" he drops the call, I stand a bit fazed Luther has never been one to ever be giddy when assigning me a mission. I hand Phillip his phone back, he grabs an apple and kisses my forehead,

" I have to head back to the Headquarters so Goodluck Kiddo" I smile back at him and wave him goodbye as he leaves, Zedd and Phillip have always been acting like my big brothers always making sure I don't get into trouble as Luther would call me a handful.

I decide to go stop by my aunt Shiela's house before I start my mission, I get in the Audi sports car it's weird driving all by myself ,usually Zedd was always with me but apparently he had some errands to run for Luther, Zedd is a computer wiz he's not always in the field just behind the scenes, I arrive at a cottage with a beautiful garden with herbs and wild flowers, my aunt was good in using herbs like she always finds a remedy for everything using her herbs which is quite cool, I see her wearing her purple floral dress with boots and a sun hat , she's busy picking herbs , she spots my car and heads toward the front gate of the house .

I get out of the car I grab the pot plants I bought earlier at a florist,

"Goodness Bonnie my baby !" she shrieks and hugs me tightly " I manage to pull away from her hug,my black jeans and black tank top are covered with mud,

"auntie geez relax" I scowl while I dust the mud off, she rolls her eyes at me she takes the pot plants ,

"Bonnie you can't blame me for acting crazy you haven't come to visit in a while and Theo misses you, I hope you are staying over this weekend" I sigh

"well unfortunately I have an assignment" her face tenses

"you know Bonnie I get worried about you, I get anxious not knowing when to expect a call declaring your death." I put my hand on her shoulder

"auntie you know very well I am the best in my field besides I am careful because I know I have a family to come back to" we keep silent when suddenly Theo tackles me from behind my back throwing me on the ground I quickly roll him over throwing him back I smirk

"nice try Theo you still need more practice I say this squeezing his cheeks, he scowls I quickly get up and aunt Shiela is already scolding us like little 5 year Olds . Theo was 17 I was five years his senior

he had similar brown skin like my aunt Shiela,not only was he tall and skinny but he's a nerd and he's the only one who knows how to decipher my unknown sarcastic remarks, he brushes his curls patting the dust off his head

"so Bonnie where is lover boy?"he chuckles, I glare at him

"he's not my lover boy and he's busy with stuff" I respond with narrowed eyes , aunt Shiela interrupts the contest between Theo and I ,

"Bonnie so where is your next assignment?" I never hide anything from aunt Shiela

"oh it's at Ridge peak " her body tenses and she freezes I look at her with a frown

" are you okay?" She starts shaking and asks Theo to leave and Theo doesn't even argue as her tone is stern

"Bonnie dear child you can't go there its too dangerous ask Luther to assign someone else" this was weird why is everyone so freaked out

" auntie I am afraid I can't Luther specifically assigned me on this mission besides I can take care of myself ."

My aunt places her hands on her face and sits on the couch in the living room

" Bonnie there's something I need to tell you" she looks up back at me and motions for me to sit beside her , she sighs

"aunt Shiela is everything alright?" She looks at me with so much concern

"Bonnie remember those dreams you kept having about a woman being chased down and the crying little girl" I nod remembering how those dreams used to haunt me each night ,

"What about them' I ask, as she is about to tell me my phone vibrates, Luther is the caller ID I was about to drop the call when my aunt tells me to take it,

"yes Luther" Luther seems on edge "Bonnie i need you to get at Ridges peak right now! "I was about to respond that I was busy but then he groans

" ok ok relax I will get there in an hour " I drop the call looking back at my aunt

"can we continue this when I return" she nods and hugs me tightly , after she lets go I can see tears in her brown eyes I fix her box braids

"auntie please don't cry besides this is not goodbye" she nods again, I take my black leather jacket on the green couch and see Theo in the hallway as I leave the lounge

"Theo please take care of her." He nods smiling and heads to his mom's side ,I say my goodbyes and leave.

I love speeding especially on quite roads,an hour later I arrive at Ridge peak I spot the woods I can't exactly attract any attention so I decide to rent a room at a motel near by, it's not far from the woods , I decide to stroll since it was still early I scout the woods and notice from an instant that there's some activity I can't exactly see where, I move on trying to see any other entry points to Ridge peak ,I see a footpath so I decide to turn back and head back to the motel, I text Luther telling him that I will enter by night of course we have to send encrypted messages at all times when making contact.

I sleep for a while after 4 hours my alarm beeps, I turn it off , I change in the body suit I decide to wear the balaclava once I arrive at Ridge peak I wrap my black trench coat around me, I press the code to the brief case it opens up I take a watch, some tranquilizers , a hand gun and a sharp blade dagger I place it next to my leg, I take a belt with tear gas it's not so heavy it's a good thing Phillip made some adjustments, I wrap it around my waist, Its dawn I put my brief case in my boot I text Zedd the location of my car so he can come pick it up, I go on foot as Ridge peak is only a 10 minute walk , I find the foot path I saw earlier I easily go in the woods nothing seemed suspicious, I walk for another 30 minutes suddenly I hear movement in the bushes and some footsteps I decide to keep walking I can sense that something is watching me in the bushes, so I decide to pull out a tear gas and launch it in the air, as soon as it goes off I quickly make a run for it except I hear a growl wait not just one but three

"shit they have Wolves!" talk about tight security, I manage to quickly climb a tree, after a few moments I can hear them moving closer ,I see them in full view except they don't see me dammit there are five of them , now I see why Phillip gave me so many tranquilizers , I slowly load them in my gun while they are trying to track me I fire the first three and I hear howls, I shiver I quickly jump and make a dash but as I am about to another one pops out of nowhere I try to shoot it but the brown wolf behind me snatches the gun out of my hand I look around and shit I am surrounded by these Wolves , I stand still, my eyes scout and then I see it on my side there's an exit I smirk I throw my teargas that I hid in my hand they try to attack except I manage to duck and run ahead as I am running I feel a stinging pain at the back of my shoulder , i decide to hide between some bushes I see them running past as I set out another teargas in the distance a while ago, I smell blood near my arm I see my suit has claw marks and my skin was ripped off damn this can't be good I feel my heart beating and my breathing rise I try to cover my arm when suddenly I see gold glowing eyes looking at me I freeze damm my blood just gave me away, dammit the least Luther can do is warn me about these Wolves , the eyes start slowly crouching towards me, " good Wolf goooood.woo...lfy" I stutter,gosh I don't even have a piece of stake on me I am so pissed at Luther right now,but what happens next makes my eyes go wide the wolf suddenly shifts it's fur slowly fades as human skin is left, with that I black out.
