Edith came upstairs. Keith carefully removed himself from Bobby’s side. Bobby whimpered. He stood up and walked over to Reggie and Edith. “The house is clean and you put the food away?”
“Yeah, that was the first thing we did. He shouldn’t have to come home to that.” Reggie grimaced.
“I called Woley’s,” Edith said. “The bodies will be taken to the mortuary today after the autopsy.” Keith began to protest.
“They have to do an autopsy for the insurance and because they will file criminal charges as a result of the accident. The coroner can put Cora and Bob back together. But I don’t think any mortician can fix Bob up enough for Bobby to see them.”

Edith caught Keith’s eye. “Bobby’s going to need help with this.”
“Dr. Harris suggested a closed coffin. I say we do what he suggests.” Keith decided.
“That would mean we could have the viewing sooner and get it over with.” Edith looked thoughtful.
