Everything seems familiar

I followed without saying a word. He led me upstairs to what seemed to his study. He instructed me to seat down. Later, a doctor came in and checked up on me. After confirming i was totally fine ,the doctor left. He came back in and apologized on behalf of his brother. I could see sorrow in his eyes. But there was more to it. I say anger, loneliness.its like all kinds of emotions were mixed within him. I didn't understand what could be brewing in his head. I kept my silence thought his apology. He opened the door and coaxed me to come out gently. I stood up feeling pain all over my body. The throbbing pain on my face. I was sure my face was filled with bruises. If it wasn't for the fear of losing control, I wouldn't have held back. Besides i knew well that violence is no way to handle situations. I walked slowly out of the his study. Not because I wanted to walk slowly but because of the pain on my hips. It was heart wrecking. He seemed to understand as he patiently stood their watching me get out. I expected him to go back in but he kept steady steps behind me. I turned my head towards him while keeping my eyes down."I can manage from here on sir thank you sir." He didn't say a word. I took it as a go a head. I continued. When I reached the stairs, I felt so much pain that I had to pose and accept the pain. I took another step. I posed again but this time when I was ready to take another step, I felt his strong arms around me . That's when I realized what he wanted to do. I gasped in surprise as he wrapped me into his hands without much effort This time I looked directly into his eyes with confusion written all over my face. But like he didn't want to meet my eyes. He kept looking towards his steps. His movements were fast but steadily. When we reached at the floor, he continued to exit the house. I couldn't help feeling ashamed. How can I allow my boss to trouble himself. "Sir, I can walk from here. Am sorry for troubling you" he stood still with his eyes wondering around. He let out a loud sigh. I expected him to place my down but he didn't. He seemed to have no plans of putting me down or even speaking . I gave up on persuading. His breathe hit my forehead. I was taking in his scent. Oh his so hot and those muscles, Those strong arms. As if listening to my thoughts,he turned and looked at me. I saw a small smile on his face. But it faded so quick. He quickened his pace and we reached the house. He set me down in front of the door. "You can take two days off. It's your first day working here and you had to experience this. "His voice so soothing and manly. And there again that small smile at the corner of his lips. It's like he was listening to my thoughts. After bidding farewell he left. I stood frozen. Not believing how my thoughts have running in different directions. Could I say that I was attracted to him? No that can't happen. I smiled at the thought of me standing side by side with him. And it suddenly seemed casual and nothing off about it . I limped in to the house until I was in my room. To my surprise their two more people inside. Both of them sat on their separate beds. "Hi you must be my new roommates . I am Serena. Nice to meet you too". My bed was next to the window so I had to limp all the way from the door to my bed. They both replied together."hii". Then the other said her name. "Am Sam" the other one also introduced herself."Am Lorain. Waw you look pretty. Are you new here too?" Lorain seemed to be a beaming spirit. She had a beautiful smile. "Yes am new. I arrived today morning. ". Her eyes scanned through my body carefully with a frown slowly finding a way on her her beautiful face. "Do the bosses here beat workers. No no I have to escape. I can't leave here. " She started panicking and Lossing breathe. I couldn't watch her going crazy. I strength myself and limped next to her. I held her firmly "Lorain!calm down. No one will hurt you physically. They are good people so calm down okay. It's okay you are safe" Did she go through something before she came here. She calmed down after hearing my words. I settled her on her bed. Slowly the tears in her eyes started to disappear. It seemed like she need time alone not inquisition. Yes I had my load of questions but it's better to not pressure her. Besides we just met but it feels like we had known each other forever. There was this familiar feeling when I look at her and her eyes full admiration. It's like the heavens gifted her eyes with the stars after a great did.
