Blue Moon Princess

(Silver Tier Winner of WPC #147 #148) *** I just got my freedom; moved away from my house and was about to have a new beginning— alas I died before even tasting the freedom, since I got hit by the renowned reincarnation specialist, truck-kun. But my luck was tremendous as I reincarnated into a new world—as expected, with my memories fully intact. That’s when I realized that the world around me looked eerily similar to the one in a game called the World of Cultivation and I am the heroine—scratch that; this body is just a random mob of this world. My hopes and dreams of living a peaceful life in this world crumbled down right in the beginning, when I learned that I’m bound to die soon from the hands of the main lead. Fret not, this world is one with cultivation. Although there’s just a few days before my uneventful death, I can do something with my cultivation and—ah, my body can’t even do cultivation now, can it? It seems like my luck wasn't that good. Instead, I’ve been riddled with numerous misfortunes. However, don’t think that I’ll give up on this precious second chance that fate bestowed upon me. My intention is to survive. And I’m willing to do anything for it! *** [Note: The artwork in my cover does not belong to me. So, I'll be taking it off if the original artist asks me to do so.] Cover edit: ZinonWonder

Seventh Heaven's Healing Skill

So, I picked up a silent room for myself and locked myself in it and began practicing the Seventh Heaven's healing skill. Since the imagery of cultivation and learning a skill is long, tedious and boring, I'm gonna skip past it.

However, I'll give you a slight gist of it though. I was right to change my deadline to two weeks. Because it took about one and a half weeks to completely integrate the Healing skill into my body. Now, that is a long time compared to what I took to learn the Dragon's rage, right?

Wrong! Why, you ask? Because this skill is an automatic level up skill, which means that as long as I level up like a normal person, the healing capacity would increase as well. So, I don't have to extensively train with it like I'm doing with the Dragon's rage, which is always a plus point.

Now, why did it take so long? Well, the skill is greedy. Okay, I know that I'm not talking about a human, however it has an ego of its own—or at least that's how it might seem.

The amount of Qi that the skill sucked out of my body was immense. I feel like I didn't even spend half of it while I was sculpting my Qi core. But these are comparisons that I should not make simply because of the difference between the two.

The sacred pills were an enormous problem for me during this endeavor. My estimates were all blown off by this skill. I thought that a container of pills would be enough for me to somehow learn this skill, but oh boy was I wrong about that!

It took me an extra container to learn it. But the thing is, I didn't have it before. I had to make Goldy steal it because I couldn't move around in my state because of a thing called Qi deviation.

Let me explain. The skill seems really basic, if you ask me. The entire premise of it was to use your innate Qi to push the impurities of your body out. Not just the external, but the internal ones as well. Looks simple, right? That's what I thought as well.

I thought it would be something similar, like what Goldy did with the poison. However, I never knew that the impurities in my body was massive. I mean, it wasn't like a simple speck or something. The thing is that these impurities can't be forced out by one go. Hell, you won't even be able to sense these impurities inside your body unless you understand the technique of recognition through this skill book.

This in turn makes me wonder a thing. If I could only get hold of the impurities once you understand the theory from this skill book, then doesn't that mean that the entire cultivation world is filled with people having impure bodies? That would explain why many couldn't advance their cultivation more than they have.

The thing with these impurities is that—well, consider it as bacteria and Qi as your organs and stuff. As long as these impurities remain in our body, our Qi utilization will remain garbage and in turn cause difficulties in our cultivation. So, unless we force it out of our system, we won't get any better at cultivation. Even removing a tiny bit of impurity could cause a massive boost to one's cultivation.

It seems like impurity removal is something that exists at minute level or else people like Goldy wouldn't have reached the ancient realm. However, rather than finding out the filth, they probably took help of some kinda consumable that ceased to exist after God's intervention.

So, from finding the filth and getting it out, it is a really taxing process, especially in the last stages because the impurity would be too small of an amount to find. Once you get all that out of your body, the next stage comes around—using the Qi from the surroundings.

This is a process that you could only do once you clean up your body. Qi is not something exclusive to a cultivator's body. Hell, we are the one who takes Qi supplements. Actually, Qi is everywhere, even in the air surrounding us. However, people can't refine it unless it is solid or liquid even. But if you clear your body, you can actually take in the Qi from the surrounding and use it for yourself.

The only negative, which can't be even termed as one is that the amount of Qi refined would decrease by the increase of Qi level to the point that it takes about a day to create five percent of what a pill gives for the top Qi level. For me, that is in the Blue Sapphire level, it takes about one hour to do that, which is still a big win. Having a reservoir of Qi within your body is the best thing!

Interestingly, one hour is the time required to fill up one out of twenty health bars, so it makes sense that way as well. This calculation is applicable if we don't have any injuries. If that's the case, the Qi instead focuses on healing those wounds since it's the primary aim of this skill. So, yea. Qi can heal your body as well, which makes sense, since it took a Qi core to fix my cultivation problems. But it can't bring back life force, though. I guess if it could do that as well, then the already unstable balance would get all broken down.

Anyhow, one and a half weeks later, I have learned the Seventh Heaven's healing skill and I can say one thing for sure. It's tough. The thing is that once you start purifying your body, you can't end it for you to achieve results, so having Qi pills in your hand is a must unless you gotta deplete your life force and die, which would've happened if Goldy hadn't brought in that extra container of pills. I asked him about how he procured it. I was thoroughly surprised when I actually heard his side of the story. It was truly one of the most idiotic things I heard in a while.
