"What the hell are you doing, Pan? Get away from that sick bastard in this instant!" Fu Meng cried as he tried making his way towards us.
I was in a really awkward position. Like, I didn't get the ideology behind Pan doing something like this. Is he hugging me so that I wouldn't suspect when he slips a knife into my gut? Well, if that's the case, then I got it covered already.
But for real, why is he doing something like this?
"Stop there, sire! There's nothing we can do to save him." While I was deeply involved in my own thoughts, I happened to hear what the subordinate spoke to Fu Meng. Thus, I decided to shift my focus towards that.
"What do you mean?" Fu Meng looked towards his subordinate and asked.
"Well, I feel like he hasn't gotten back from the trauma of losing his master yet. And if that's the case, he's not gonna listen to anything you have to say." The subordinate spoke.
