CHAPTER 22

In another part of the school, Stacy who had only unlocked two abilities was thinking

Her ability was a special ability that didn't require a brain reaction but the cores of monsters. The first years were still too early in the school to go on a hunting trip so there was no way she could get cores.

Stacy had the opportunity to take one of the cores of the penguns but she didn't know the requirements for her ability yet and even if she did, she would have immediately failed if she killed any of the penguns and her family would have to payback for the life of that pengun. She needed to get stronger before the combat class or she would get a low score. She was still pondering on her predicament when a thought came into her mind.

She had got her first core from the market so she decided to go to the market and look for a cheap core to buy. Within her, she knew that a cheap core would be just a basic level and they normally didn't have much power. She could have just levelled up the thundercon but there wasn't much money on her and the online mall didn't sell flaming gorilla cores since it was a monster special to her.

She went up to her room and then to the online mall. Using the search option, she searched for cheap cores below 10000 credits and immediately, a wide range of monster cores appeared on the screen for sale ranging from 2000 to 9000 credits.

Since she didn't want to buy a really low core, she went with cores at 3000 credits. When she did that, only two options came out for a steam rat and a wind eagle.

She didn't normally take interest in rats and she already had a fire related monster so the only option she could go for was the wind eagle. Using 9000 credits, she placed an order for three eagle cores.

Within ten minutes, a portal opened up in her room and a man wearing an all-white robe with a hood came out of the portal with a small rectangular iron container. Stacy took the container and sent the money over to the organisation. When she opened up the container, she could see three cores shining so brightly that they almost lit up her whole room.

"These are high level cores" Stacy said to herself "that means the person who sold theses cores must be very stupid or in desperate need of money to sell it at such a low price, the universe wants me to pass this combat class"

She knew this because, the higher the level of the core, the brighter it shines and low level cores don't shine that much. She went ahead and picked up one of the cores.

[High Level Wind Eagle core]

[Would you like to create a monster with core?]

Her system just confirmed it for her, the core was a high level one so immediately, and she accepted it. The core slowly started fading away until there was nothing left of it.

Within her, Stacy could see the core flying into a white egg giving it a wind sign in the middle.

[Congratulations, new monster created, Wind Eagle]
