Chapter - 3

"Hmm... Why do you always have your eyes on the chair I have my ass on?" Austin Knight raised his eyebrows to Lilly. "Tell me, do you like it?"

Lilly felt so much annoyance in her heart. This jerk! She was about to explode when Claire stopped her "It's fine Lilly. I'll go sit at the back, you stay here" Claire was much more polite than Lilly. Lilly was a wild cat already.

"No, this isn't fine. I never sit without you" Lilly made a puppy face as she looked at Claire. They were best friends for as long as they could remember and they never sit without each other till now.

"Why are you afraid to sit alone that you need a babysitter all the time?" Austin saw a perfect chance to make her annoyed so he didn't let it slip away.

"Shut up blockhead" Lilly was fuming with anger. How she wished Austin was a football so that she could kick him away and never have to see him again.

"You wish girl !" Austin was not backing off. He felt it interesting how wild can this cat be. She was such an entertaining one. It was a pity that he don't have anyone like her back in his hometown.

"YOU!!" Lilly wanted to punch this punk right in his face but Claire hold her back and patted her shoulder to calm her down.

After Lilly was silent, Claire went back and sat on the vacant seat. As for Billy, neither he had a choice other than sitting next to Claire Davis. And of course, she won't have any objections to that.

As he sat next to Claire, she felt the tingles all over her body as if thousands of butterflies were outbursting her body at once.

Billy also felt his heartbeat as if someone was knocking on the door in an emergency. He just saw this beautiful girl and he couldn't think straight away from that very moment.

He wanted to talk to her and ask her name. But he found it hard to utter a single word out of her lips.

Is this all for real? Why do I feel all those creepy words written in books which I thought were surreal? This tingles all over my body, the sudden change in the atmosphere, why did it suddenly turn hot? Why do I feel like everything is slowed down? I can even see air blowing the hair at the side of his head... Claire mumbled these words in her head.

"So... Your name?" It took Billy so much courage to get these words out of his lips.

Claire smiled as she heard Billy asking her name. It felt so sweet to hear him talk as if she was hearing her favorite song.

Claire looked at him but she couldn't keep her eyes on him locked because as soon as her eyes met

his, she felt a wave of electric shock in her body. So she quickly looked down and blushed hard.

The same was the case with Billy. It was the first time he had felt this hard to talk to a girl.

"I'm Claire..." Claire muttered softly in her soft and sweet voice.

"Claire..." Billy repeated her name. He felt the name was just as sweet as her.

On the other side, there was still a war going on between Austin and Lilly Jones. During the whole class, they were exchanging death glares at each other.

The whole class were interested in it, it was such fun to watch them fight like dog and cat. They had known Lilly as one of the sweet girls, it was an exception for them to see this side of Lilly Jones as well.

After the class was about to get over the teacher announced the exam to the whole class.

"Well class, the second term internal exam will be at the end of this month, so prepare well," he said and was about to get out of the class when his eyes fell on Austin.

Of course, he knew Austin, a transferee from another school and most importantly son of a business tycoon in S city.

He walked up to Austin and spoke as gently as he could "Austin, how is your first day going?"

"Well," Austin glanced at Lilly Jones "It is very interesting sir, I just met a wild cat today" he chuckled softly.

Lilly Jones know what she was talking about. She couldn't help but glare at Austin.

Why on earth this man is still alive??? She gritted her teeth.

"Is that so? That's good you find it interesting but be careful wild cats are dangerous" the teacher warned him. He was talking to him just because he know about Austin's background.

"Don't worry teacher, I know how to handle these animals" he answered as he looked at Lilly.

Lilly's hand turned into a fist as she heard his words but she don't want to be a bad girl in front of the teacher so she have to keep her anger quiet.

"And by the way, if you need any help with the studies you can look for Lilly Jones." He said as he turned to Lilly "Lilly come here" he called out.

Lilly smiled awkwardly at him as she walked up to him. "Yes sir?"

"Help him if he needs help with something. Okay?" He said with a great smile as he thought he was helping Austin and can be on his good side. But little did he know was Lilly was the wild cat Austin was talking about.

"I don't need any help" Austin refused Lilly's help right away.

The teacher felt awkward as he refused his help. He felt embarrassed and wanted to flee.

"Well, that's fine. Still... If you need her" he patted Lilly's back and walked out of the class.

"So, you don't need my help?" Lilly raised her eyebrow.

"No, never" Austin smirked at her.

"Woof, that's a relief then..." She said as she walked to the next class grabbing her pieces of stuff. This time Austin was the one left with his nails digging in his flesh.
