Chapter - 15

"What do you...? Ahh..." Lilly was so annoyed that others' words fell to come out of her mouth. She looked at Austin with anger and hatred as she yelled "GET OUT!!!"

"You wish..." Austin glared coldly at her before wandering here and there in her room. He picked up a book from the table and opened it.

"Don't touch that..." Lilly quickly lunged forward and pulled her book from Austin's hand. She quickly hides it behind her.

Austin just shrugged his shoulder and picked up another one. Just like before, it was snatched away by Lilly. But Austin didn't stop there... He continued picking up the books from her table and flipping it until she snatches them away.

Finally, Lilly could hold no longer. She snapped the books in her hands on the table and growled "What's your problem huh? First, you spilled juice all over me and now when I want to stay alone, you are yet here to make me annoyed? What is your problem? Don't you have anything to do?"

Austin rolled his eyes as he sat at the table "You speak too much..."

"About the incident in the canteen... Why were you angry?" Austin asked being all naive.

"What do you mean by why? You make me a bath with your filthy juice..." Lilly felt more anger rising in her chest thinking about the events earlier. She closed her fist in anger.

"Was that the only reason...?" Austin smiled playfully as he saw her hands.

"Of course, it was. What else could it be?" Lilly was beyond furious. She was glaring at Austin with fire in her eyes.

"Maybe..." Austin pulled Lilly towards him by grabbing her arms. She landed hard on his chest.

"Ouch..." Lilly held his head and rubbed it where she hit his chest.

'His chest... It's hard ... as rock' she mumbled in her mind as the sweet male fragrance hit her nose. She inhaled some air trying to get more of the scent.

"Maybe... Because you saw me with someone else and..." Austin left the sentence in middle trying to tease her.

An image of Austin on the cafeteria table sitting across from Ada came to Lilly's head and it gave her a bitter vibe. But she didn't think about it much and tried to shake the image out of her head.

"No, I'm not jealous of Ada," Lilly mumbled as she looked into his deep black eyes.

Austin smiled and inched closer to Lilly Jones. Lilly's heartbeat started pounding like a drum each second he was getting closer, she could feel the temperature has risen and it was so hot. She thought he was going to kiss her.

But just before he touched her lips, he tilted his lips near her ears and whispered "I never mentioned you being jealous."

Lilly's eyes widened with the realization and she pushed him away in panic. Austin was caught off guard and hit his head on the wall.

"Ye..." Austin cried in pain and held his head. But his eyes lit up as well as his mood as soon as he saw Lilly's red face. He couldn't help but to giggle "Ya... you like a tomato that is soon going to rotten... haha.."

"Shut up" Lilly felt humiliated as he laughed at her. She then looked at the mirror on the wall and her face was indeed red.

'What the heaven...' she cursed herself.

Just as Austin was laughing, he heard someone coming near them outside in the hallway. He got up and peeked from the peephole. His eyes frowned as he saw it was the warden.

He turned around, opened the window, and jump off it.

"Hey what...?" Before Lilly could finish her sentence, he had jumped already. She ran to the window and looked down. Austin was on the ground trying to scrub the dirt off his pants. After a while, looked up and smiled before walking away.

And just like that, he was gone living Lilly in awe.

"Do you want to hang out after the classes?" Billy somehow makes the courage to ask her out. Claire who was putting her books in the locker, her hands froze in the middle of the air. She slowly turned around and met those jet-black eyes that were still looking at her passionately just as ever. He had so much hope in his eyes and he was holding a small rose in his hand.

"Please don't say no. I want to know you better..." Billy mumbled.

Claire felt shy even though the corridor was empty. She quickly pick the rose from Billy and nodded before heading off to her next class.

"Yesss" Billy jumped in excitement. He was so happy and content with himself. He had a big smile on his face as he followed Claire to the last class.
