Human corruption

Sebastian had woken up earlier than anyone else, he didn't need sleep that much.

Going through his morning rituals, he had settled down looking through letters that were sent throughout the days he was absent, one caught his attention and he laughed when he read it.

The paper In which the letter had been written caught fire in a matter of seconds and the ashes disappeared.

He wasn't in the mood to make deals with stupid humans anymore, going through the rest of the letters,time passed quickly and then a knock was heard.

"Come in," His deep voice ordered and the person had pushed the door open.

"My Lord," The person greeted as he bowed and Sebastian nodded.

"The soldiers are at the mountain side where they train" The person said and Sebastian nodded again as he dismissed the person letting the maids come in to help with his bath and getting dressed.

Leaving his room Sebastian came pass a maid who blushed noticing him and he smiled.

"Come," he ordered as he walked ahead and the blushing maid followed him.

"You may all leave and I want no one lurking around" Sebastian warned clearly and the servants all left the dinning room, leaving only Sebastian and the maid alone.

"Your blood seems to rush here and it seems like it's going to be tasty, how about I have a taste?" Sebastian asked as he held the maid to sit on the table and keeping her between his legs as his fingers trailed the maid's face and came to stop on her neck.

"What do you say?" He asked but didn't let the maid answer as he brought his head to the maid's neck, letting his fangs grow, he bite into the lady's neck and a shrill scream could be heard but it wasn't for long as she became pale after a few seconds, blood draining out of her.

"She would die if you continue" A familiar voice laughed as he stated the obvious, Sebastian groaned as he redrew from the lady's neck and she fell.

"Have you no manners?" Sebastian asked looking annoyed as he wiped the lady's blood that had stained his lips with the back of his hand.

"Ah, am sorry milord" Arthur said with a mocking smile.

"How much did you enjoy the morning snack?" He added and Sebastian became expressionless.

"Still tasteless" He answered with a bored tone as he walked towards the exit.

"Deal with her, I have somewhere to go" Sebastian said and Arthur nodded.

"To Lady Jazmine I guess," Arthur asked and Sebastian didn't respond.

A small smile tugged on Arthur's lips as he looked at the lady on the floor who seemed like she would die any minute from now.

"Whose spy are you now?" He muttered to himself as he went closer to the lady.

"Milord," A guard greeted and Sebastian nodded as he walked into the midst of the soldiers, those who were busy or training, when they all noticed him they stood up to greet him as they all bowed.

"Milord." They all chorused.

"A long time is it," He nodded as he waved his hands lazily and they all rose, "Where are they?" Sebastian asked the soldier who was behind him and the man moved forward as he led the way.

Getting to a particular black tent he called out to let their presence be known.

"The Lord is here" He announced as he pushed open the tent and they both entered.

"General," A lady had greeted as she looked behind the general she bowed her head, "Sebastian".

"Jazmine," He called out her name with a smile.

"How are the soldiers fairing?" He asked and Jazmine looked up to him.

"The swords and arrows used during the war was poisoned with what can kill vampires and currently it affects the humans too, i am yet to figure out what it contains but then the humans amongst them are suffering and don't seem to recover, they are in a lot of pain, some vampires have been healed" Jazmine said and Sebastian stood silent for a while as if he were thinking.

"Take me to them." He ordered and Jazmine led him and the general into the place where there were other ladies and some young men taking care of the people who were screaming non stop, they had blood shot eyes, with black blood spilling from their mouth, red veins all over their body and they looked horrible to look at.

"This are the humans, the vampires have less symptoms and pains and they are quite easy to cure." Jazmine said as she looked at a man who was struggling on the bed, his hands were chained to the bed as the others.

"Hand your sword over." Sebastian said and the general hesitated a bit but later handed his silver sword to his master.

"Sebastian what are you doing?" Jazmine asked, her eyes wide opened as she watched Sebastian remove the sword right from it's silver scabbard, the well sharpened sword was held elegantly in Sebastian's hand.

"You can't do this," Jazmine added as she came to stand in front of the man who was going through a lot of pain at that moment.

"move," Sebastian commanded as his iris flashed bright red and Jazmine seemed shaken but didn't step aside.

"I said move." Sebastian added, his voice going deeper.

"Sebastian, please give me a chance, I shall bring them back into their normal state, they are your soldiers remember" Jazmine pleaded as she stood straight.

"Have you had a change of mind just because of your heart?, he isn't worthy of being here, he is weak." Sebastian's cold voice resounded and he turned to look at the general who bowed and came to move Jazmine away and before Jazmine could struggle, the blade had gone right into the man's chest and he had stopped breathing, laying there without breathing, his eyes still opened as he had died violently.

"I shall leave the rest for you to take care of" Sebastian said as he removed the sword that came out with the man's black heart.

"Human corruption can't be healed" He said as he walked to the exit of the tent. "And also, Arthur had made mention of your name." Sebastian added and Jazmine became stiff for a few seconds and seeing that Sebastian left the tent.

"Am sorry." The general said to Jazmine as he quickly followed behind Sebastian.

"We have a huge war ahead and it would be a dangerous one, prepare for i shall take no weak man" Sebastian deep voice said as he addressed all his men and they all agreed, hailing their master.

"Before you accept anyone, let them go through test and the least thing they should deal with should be the dragon." Sebastian ordered with a cold voice and the frozen general quickly bowed.

"yes Milord" He answered and Sebastian smiled.

"We shall play dirty." He muttered to himself with an evil smirk.
