CHAPTER 5

Alex was sleeping in his room; He was tired last night…It was a long night. Then there was Drake Sleeping in his room and that room was like fully messed up. Alex's eyes slowly opened and then he got up; His head was spinning probably because he drank some wine, although he didn't liked wine. Then he went in Bathroom and washed his face and got ready. When he was fully ready so he was about to head downstairs but then he saw someone looking from the window, basically trying to sneak in the house and when he succeeded so he went and hid in the room, He thought Alex didn't saw him, But actually he did and then Alex went in that room and tried to find out where that guy was hiding, But then door swung open and that guy ran out and downstairs, Well it wasn't a guy, It was a kid, Alex just got the side look of him, Then Alex ran after him and then chased after him out of the house, That kid was fast, He was a vampire, running towards the woods, Alex ran faster than him and caught him and dragged him away from the woods and threw him a little back and said " Hey kid, You run again and this time you die so tell me like a good boy why were you trying to sneak in the house" That boy was like 14 years old and he had black hair and black eyes and then he spoke " Hey…Please…Please let me go" Alex replied " Oh well I would have let you, If you would have answered my question, Well now basically you are a thief so I don't care and I would have left you, but… Every vampire in New Orleans knows that going in the forest is like committing suicide nowadays, as you know the war between vampires and werewolves, Right" Alex went closer to that kid and said "Why were you sneaking in my house and Despite the fact that there is a war going on in New Orleans you chose to run towards Forest…Why?" That kid slowly replied "Umm… Yes I am a vampire and… I was sent by Lucian Greyback…" Alex looked at the kid and took a step towards him "Oh, so you are saying that you are a spy of my enemy and you came to check my location, is that right?", that kid quickly replied "No… I am not a spy…Well I did come to check your location but I am forced too, they have my Parents and my elder brother and younger sister…" Alex was confused and then he asked "Wait so that Alpha sent a kid as his spy?", that Kid replied "Well…Yes but maybe because you see a Big person following you for two days so obviously you would have felt suspicious but who will suspect a kid, right? The kid who is a vampire but is acting fully like human and also secretly following you" Alex was Surprised and then said "Wow kid, you been following me for two days just because you wanted to know my location?" Kid replied "First of all, I am Max and second of all I have been following you from the time your house got burned but then I kind of lost you and was finding you whole night…Don't kill me now, Alright I know you are a hybrid… but don't kill me, please" Alex grinned and then questioned "What are they going to do if they found out my location?" Max replied "Well, Probably invade your house and like kill you because they mad at you, Like real mad" Alex's mind was working and then he had a plan he said " Ok, If you want to save your parents, then you have to do one thing and now you become my secret spy" Max was Bewildered and then he said " Ok…But how are you going to save my parents because that Lucian Greyback will be back there and if he sees you he will be really angry", Alex smirked and then said " Come with me kid, I have a plan" and then Alex headed towards the house. When Alex finally reached the house so Drake was standing out of the house looking all sides and when he saw Alex he ran towards me and said "Hey, dude where were you?" and then he looked at the Max "And…who is this kid", Alex replied "Hey, Drake gather all the vampires who are in Chris's house and bring them to me, Even Chris" as Drake opened his mouth to ask, so Alex cut him off and said " Just do what I say, I will tell you afterwards." Drake slowly nodded and then went to Chris's House. Alex and Max went into the house and sat on a couch and then Max asked impatiently "Hey, Tell me what is the Plan!?" Alex replied "First of all after I tell you my plan and if you go out there in front of Lucian Greyback and if you tell him my plan… and after you tell him my plan, if any of my Friends get hurt, you and your family will be responsible for that", Max quickly replied "Ok, I won't say anything to him about our plan, But make a good plan" Alex grinned and replied "Ah, You don't worry about the plan." Then Drake entered the house with three men, one of them was Chris and two of them were Chris's friends. Chris asked "What happened?" Alex replied "Alright, so guys, this young guy over here is Max and umm… I caught him Sneaking up in the house and he says that he was kind of following me from two days and that he was going to report my location back to…Lucian Greyback." Chris and Drake suddenly looked at Max and they were filled with Anger but then Alex took their attention and said "Hey, Chill He is forced to do this all, He is a vampire like us, His family is in danger" but then Chris said "Hey, do you trust this kid?" Alex was silent for a minute and then replied "No, I don't because I barely know him, but when he was telling me all the things about his family, I know he was telling the truth… and we have to help his family, His family is in danger and we have to do something" Everyone was silent and then finally Chris responded " Fine, What is the plan" Alex grinned and then said " Well it's not a great plan but it will get the job done, Now Max here says that The Alpha is really angry on me and that if he sees me, he will kill me. Now if somehow Lucian gets my location, He will come with his people to attack my house, now his anger…Lets make that anger, our advantage. We will send Max to Lucian and Max will give him the location of a different place, I mean no one knows where we are, right now, Right? So Lucian also doesn't know and then we send Lucian to that place and while Lucian is out there looking for us, we head into the forest and attack his other people and Rescue Max's Family and then we head out of the forest as fast as we can." Everyone was silent and by the look on Drake and Chris's face, we could tell that they liked the plan. Chris said "Impressive" and everyone agrees with it, Alex said "Ok, So we give Lucian some location which is far away from Chris's house, so that Chris's family doesn't have any more problems." Everyone agreed and then Drake said "Ok…When should we start? Tomorrow because already right now its evening and I don't want to be in the woods at night" Everybody agreed to the plan and then Chris told Alex and drake to come to his house to have dinner.

Night had finally fallen upon them, Drake and Alex headed towards Chris's House for dinner, as they entered so Chris welcomed them and there were Chris's daughters and His wife and his daughter Kate standing beside Chris, Welcoming them, her smile… was so calm and welcoming. Then they all had dinner and then Alex, Drake, Chris and the two men were in the garden, Kate was playing with Chris's Daughters in the garden too. Then Kate got a phone call and then she came to Chris and said "Chris, Actually I have to go to my friend's house, you know she needs my help with something…so can I go?" Chris replied "Yes sure you can but take someone with you because being out there at night isn't safe, you can go but take someone with you…Alex?" Then Alex looked at Chris and Chris said "My friend, Can you go with Kate, Well I am scared that being out there at night, Werewolves must be finding more vampires, So can you go with her", Alex replied "Oh, Sure" Chris said " Thanks" and then Alex and Kate headed towards Kate's friend house. They were walking; Nowadays New Orleans streets were silent. They both were silent for a while and then finally Kate said "So…How are you?" Alex replied "Oh, I am great, Thanks to Chris that he let us stay in his house." Kate replied "Well, You saved amber, Chris's Daughter" Alex smiled and then Kate continued "Anyway…I heard you and Chris are helping another kid, Tomorrow?" Alex replied "Yes, We will go and rescue his parents" Kate grinned. Soon they had reached the house of Kate's friend and they were done there and headed back, when they came back so there was no sound coming from Chris's house and the lights were all out and the house was unusually quiet. Alex and Kate ran towards the house and as they entered so everyone was lying on the floor, Alex ran and sat beside them to check their breathing and they were still breathing and that meant that they were unconscious. "What happened?" Kate asked, Alex was silent and then he said "Get some water, immediately; pour some water on the faces." Kate did as she was told and then after doing that on Chris, Chris finally came in consciousness and Alex and Kate gave out a sigh of relief and then something moved behind them, When Alex looked behind him so there was Max standing and by the look on his face, He was fully afraid, and then he ran and hugged Alex, Alex realized max was crying. When Max calmed down, Then Alex asked him "What happened here?" Max replied "After you left, these people came in our garden and then they asked if about you that where was Alex Morgan, Everyone played Dumb and said Who Alex, But then They were about to Attack Chris but then Drake told me to go and hide and then Drake went and protected Chris and everyone, The beat Drake real bad, and then..." Alex was looking him in the eyes and then asked "And then what?!" Max quickly replied "And then… They took him and they had a witch with them and that witch did some spell…" Alex was alerted by the word witch because New Orleans witches are pretty smart. And then Alex went to Kate and Chris and said "Hey…I am sorry, Because of me again your life got in danger, I will fight myself now, I will bring back Drake and Max's family, I don't want to put you guys in danger and Thank you for letting us stay in your house for some days" Chris was silent and then Kate said "I want to help and I will, Those wolves have attacked my Family…" Alex replied "No…I don't want anyone else to get in trouble because of me, Sorry" and then Alex left and took Max with him. Alex now had nowhere to go so he decided a hotel would be good. As they both were heading towards Alex said "Hey…Max, you need to go right now, Alright? Go right now and tell them that Alex is staying in Bourbon Street with a friend, Alright? It's almost sunrise, go and tell them my fake location" Max nodded and then went off. The beast inside Alex was fighting to come out but Alex was holding it back, the anger he felt when he got to know that Drake was taken by the wolves, that anger was a key for the beast to get out and take over Alex's body but Alex didn't wanted to get angry because he knew what beast was hidden inside him. As Max ran towards the woods so after Half an hour, Alex headed towards the woods.
