Colette was starting to feel anxious as she was alone in Nora’s villa. She didn’t know when Nora was supposed to be back, and she wasn’t answering her text messages about it either. Rosie was also not answering, so she really felt alone.
She was about to call Nora when she heard a car pull up to the driveway, and she got up off the couch to peek out the window and see who it was. The car’s windows were tinted black to match the paint on it, but soon enough, Nora stepped out of the backseat.
Colette felt immediate relief upon seeing her new friend, and she even rushed to the door to greet her as she came in. Even though Nora looked somewhat out of sorts, that didn’t stop her from smiling when she saw the blonde.
“You’re home!” Colette exclaimed.
“Finally,” Nora answered with a little sigh, rubbing her forehead. “Sorry to ditch you like that. Mom and dad really needed me back in London.”
