Chapter 13

There was an uncomfortable atmosphere in Alpha McCabe office and the cause of the unrest was seating a chair munching on an apple.

“Killian. What are you doing here?” Alpha McCabe asked. He sounded surprised at the same time angry.

Jackson stared at his uncle and father. He could practically see the bad blood between them but made no comment about it. Alpha McCabe and Killian had a fall out years ago that made them cut off communication. The fact that he was here meant something was wrong.

“brother! What a warm welcome.” Killian said ignoring the question that was asked.

Alpha McCabe let out a low growl causing Killian to let out a snort. He threw the apple cord into the trash with perfect aim.

“is it such a bad thing to see my wonderful older brother.” Killian said with a mocking voice. His eyes met Jackson’s green ones making him flinch.

“nephew.” He said with a sinister smile.

“you are not welcome here.” His father said but Killian simply rolled his eyes.
