Chapter 166: Fairy

Beneath the waning orange glow of the afternoon sun, a palpable tension hung in the air, casting a shadow over the scene. 

Jin found himself encircled by a group of men clad in sleek black suits, with kimonos slung over their shoulders, their expressions a mixture of anguish and anger.

"Uwaah!" From their lips erupted fervent shouts, accompanied by sprays of spittle, and then came an astonishing phenomenon – a vivid blue surge of energy, akin to flames, took form. 

These mysterious men were gradually consumed by this ethereal azure blaze, their bodies transforming amidst this otherworldly illumination.

"A power-up? Interesting," Jin's perceptive gaze noted the veins bulging on their clenched hands, even as their widened eyes remained locked onto him. 

In response, Jin's initially nonchalant demeanor underwent a subtle shift, giving way to an expression that oscillated between anticipation and curiosity.
