A pair of crimson, almond-shaped eyes widened, fixating on Jin, who returned her gaze with an expression that confirmed her suspicions. Li Mei's slender, graceful legs carried her closer to Jin, who was attempting to discern her emotions.

"He must have reached the maximum level a long time ago," Li Mei continued to observe Jin's expression, and her suspicions were confirmed. 

She noticed the subtle shift in his demeanor, how he averted his gaze casually after assessing her to check whether her question had a double meaning or not. 

It was as if he had something to hide, and this realization deepened her sense of suspicion.

The crackling of the fireplace and the warmth it emanated provided a comforting and pleasant backdrop as Jin, seemingly satisfied with his evaluation, finally parted his lips to respond.

"Yes, I have," his response was concise and to the point, lacking any additional elaboration.
