Chapter 29

Kris layed on the floor, trying to figure out what to do. He felt so exhausted and nothing was coming to mind. He clenched his fists and roared out while forcing himself onto his feet. He pulled out his source energy and formed a cloak. He tried to shape a sphere properly and soon his cloak felt weak. To add salt to his wounds, the sphere itself began to wobble and while he powered through the pain his body felt, the sphere exploded in his face sending him bouncing on the ground untill he smashed into a wall.

"It's not working." he puffed out with a groan.

"You need to stop and take a rest. You are physically and mentally too exhausted to keep this up." James voiced out

"Yo... couldn't you give me a hint or two?" Kris asked out loud.

"I could, but of course, I won't."

"What! Why?!"
