23. The counsel

The feeling of desire is still going through my veins and I even hugged him closer, so I can feel his breath on my skin giving me shivers all over my body. When he was full, he stopped as we looked at each other. "Are you ok?" He asked me concerned how I feel. Trying to figure out if he didn't kill me for trying to save himself. He sits next to me to the headboard of the bed, and we waited. After an hour still nothing happened, only thing was that I am hungry. I stepped in the kitchen and ate a couple of sandwiches and some blood from the fridge and turned again yo my room where Xandros was deep asleep. For this time, I had let him sleep and laid myself next to him and turned off the light, falling deep asleep also.

The next morning I wake up and feel another body laying next to me and I remember what happened yesterday. I look at the back of Xandros and tried to wake him to see how he is doing. He turned around, and I looked in shock to him. "Am I so ugly that you look at me that way?" He said trying to be funny what wasn't because he didn't looked bad or ugly. No, he looked again like the handsome man I had seen before in the castle. His skin color was back and his eyes were back glassy and beautiful with the spickles that are around his iris. "No, you look amazing! It worked!" I screamed as I take him in my arms. He laughed and is going to the bathroom when he came out later cleaned and fully cloth. Ok, he was not baked next to me but not ad fully cloth as he was now in his suit. He stepped out of my room and I stepped inside of the bathroom, looking at myself if I not got hurt in any kind of way. What wasn't I looked still pale as I always looked. And everything was just the same. Happy I step also out of my room where I look at George and Remus all in schock. "How did you heal Xandros?" Remus asked me as I turn my back to him to go to the kitchen.

"He bite me." I hear all the men holding breath. "He did what?!" Is Remus asking in disbelief. Xandros is telling them what happened as I am making breakfest for them. Today is the day if we know we have to run or have still some time to stay. Remus is going to hear at the guard what is happening like a spy of course cause they may not know we are the banned ones that are hiding here. I was just preparing dinner at night as Remus almost broke the door so hard I heard it slam to the wall.

"We have to leave know! They are coming!" He yells as he takes our bags and put on his back and start running. Why we don't have a car anymore? Because only rich vampires could buy one and only the wealthy humans in thrir mansion and we had to stay lo to sell the car on the black marked. This planet had only a short amount of cars. I don't know a lot of earth but I had heard almost everyone has a car there.

We run but got very fast caught by guards who where searching for us. They put us in the trunk of their big fancy car where we meet up with Xandros. George had no bounty on his head and him they didn't took. We couldn't speak to each other because of the bandage around our mouth. But I had a small idea what they are going to do with us.

After a hour of pressed in this trunk we got out in the middle of the city where we look at a high skycraper. I hear Remus all whispering the counsel and I know this is going to be not a pleasant adventure maybe not that cruel as the games but we will see.

We are put in a room at the second floor. All did they not put us together, they didn't want us to speak to each other why I don't get but it had somthing to do with their possition they had before and could tell or give information to each eather at this end.

After a day of waiting in this room with the white walls I was do anoyed for getting no food that they had to heandcouf me because I tried to bit the man who was taking me out of the room. Growling as a hungry beast all the time I was taken to a room with a man seating at the end of the room at a high desk and other vampires ego were seated at the right side of the man at the desk. "We hear the court," I hear the vampire next to me say as he seated me next to Xandros on the hard floor with my bard knees who are hurt by their power to let me seat. I was still strumbling until Xandros told me to stay still.

The head of the counsel who had introduced himself as Lord Virndro was angry looking at Xandros that he had spoken to me.

"Xandros Milanio, you are here by treason of the court and our rules."

I hear him speak up to Xandros who's body next to my was cringing at the man's words.

He was tensed up and I hoped he didn't let the tension make rational disisions.

"Do you know what you did wrong?" I hear the vampire with his dark black hair who is head of court speak to hm and try to figure out of he was realy mad or just inpressrf caude he sended mulipule signals of.emotions.

"He is noting! Send him back to earth!"

I hear a voice say who I reconize as,

"Firius, you know the court don't allow you to speak before we told you to speak up," The head of court stood up pointing to him in an angry way that he dared to speak up before he must.

"I am the vampire king I speak from the vampires in my realm."

Of course he got the title but not on a honest way, he is and will be aways the second in line. He is the oldest of the both but what I heard he was never been loved and a cruel man they had to destroy centuries ago.

He cane further that we could see hm standing there with a cape like he was the king of whole Irantus what a stupid ass to think he could fool anyone with this act.

"Firius! Last warning you may be king but not in my court!"

I laughed silently until Xandros lookrd angry what made me stop before I got us more in trouble.

"I turned Cleo Harper into a vampire," anwers he the question that was asked to him.

Is that so bad he had saved me.

"And what are the rules of the games you yourself had invented?"

He turned his face to the hard ground we are with or knees and said defeated, "never to save a bloodbag."

Schoked I look at him with tears in my eyes. How? Did they kill the other participants after they won, no.

They waited on Xandros to go further and that's the words that made me sickenning the most about him, "nobody can win the games, it's just a game out of boredom."

I hate Xandros! Never he wanted to save that poor people that they found just fun to kill because they were bored! I will shut this thing down now or over a couple of centuries but I will save Hymquotius for this evil minds all have I to kill them all and if Xandros thnk by saving me to get away with it he is wrong.
