Chapter 20

"Mother!"

Previously, Alika had made a heart spot because she couldn't find Agatha's whereabouts at home. She had searched all the available rooms, even to the backyard and Alika couldn't find her mother's nose at all.

Alika is about to look for Devan's house, that's when she hears a call from her mother. Alika can't hide her sadness as well as her emotion when she can see her mother again.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for mom everywhere, I've searched all the rooms, but mom isn't anywhere," said Alika without letting go of her hand on the figure of the woman who had given birth to her.

"I'm not going anywhere, just going to Mr. Devan's house. I have something to talk to him about."

Agatha also stroked the top of her daughter's hair, realizing that she had made Alika sad, Agatha was looking for ways to cheer her up.

At first Alika did not immediately believe Agatha's words, but only after Devan spoke did Alika believe it.

Devan says that there is a serious conversation between them and doesn't want to tell Alika first.

Hearing this, of course, made Alika happy. He had long hoped that Ms. and Mr. Devan could unite on the aisle and now that wish is starting to come true.

Alika was very, very happy, she hugged her mother tightly, "How can I say that I am very happy? I am happy because soon mother and Mr. Devan will be together."

Instantly Agatha rolled her eyes, unable to understand that Alika expected her to be side by side with Devan on the aisle.

"Mother... I'm very happy for both of you. Hopefully this happy news can be done quickly," said Alika again, which made Agatha even more in a dilemma.

Alika's words have been misinterpreted which actually does not lead to a more serious relationship, but something else. However, Agatha couldn't tell him now. So he chose to remain silent so that no more problems would arise.

Alika let go and stretched her arms, she hastily moved to the place where Devan was. Alika drew herself closer, very close, clinging to Devan like a child to his father.

Devan smiled gently at Alika, he stroked the top of the beautiful teenager's hair, meanwhile Alika felt closer to Devan until she couldn't help but hug.

Devan returned the hug warmly, he stroked Alika's back hair with mixed feelings.

There were many questions in his mind about his decision to say that Agatha met him to discuss serious matters. Devan does not know whether this decision is good or not later?

However, what Devan feels right now is so peaceful, especially when he hugs Alika. He realized this was the peace before the storm.

After she hugged Devan for a long time, Alika finally let go of the hug. He excitedly took Devan's hand and asked him to sit beside him, positioning himself between mother and Mr. Devan.

"Today, I feel very happy because I got news from you, Mother ... Uncle ... I hope you can be together soon. I will wait for that day to come," said Alika, holding Agatha's and Devan's hands, then she united both hands on his lap.

Agatha also looked at the girl who has her favorite beads, "Whatever makes your happiness, then mother will be happy too, dear. Keep smiling and happy, dear."

Agatha closed her words with her best smile. You could say it was the best smile Agatha had. Just like what Agatha did, Devan looked closely at Alika. He caressed the beautiful teenager's cheek warmly.

Alika can feel the love that is so great from the two people. The cute-faced beautiful girl can only hope, Mother and the man she calls 'Uncle' are really side by side on the aisle.

Alika was determined in her heart to try even harder to bring the two closer, so that her wish was quickly realized.

The next few days, Alika was ready to go to school. Every morning, Alika doesn't forget to share her best smile. He came to the dining room, there was already Agatha serving food for breakfast.

Before her activities, Alika always prioritizes breakfast so that she is strong to go through these long days. At least, Agatha has taught Alika to have breakfast first since she was a child.

After the food was finished, Alika hastily got up from her place. He wrapped his arms around Agatha's waist, then kissed her mother's forehead.

"I'm leaving, Yes. Mother," said Alika, while asking for her blessing so that her days could go well.

"Yes, dear. Be careful on the road. Don't cause trouble at school. Learn the right way and make Mother proud, dear," Agatha said hopefully.

"Ready, Boss! Execute!" he returned excitedly, placing his hand on the tip of his right temple like someone saluting.

Agatha also pinched her daughter's waist, "Don't tease mom anymore. You better go quickly or you'll be late, honey."

Alika grabbed her bag and carried it on her shoulder. "Okay, I've been kicked out by mom, so I have to go to school," he muttered in a sarcastic tone.

Agatha rolled her eyes, her ears seemed to hear something like someone was complaining. He certainly did not just stand still, the intention of the heart to retaliate. However, Devan had already entered the room.

"Good morning, everyone," said Devan, who was neatly dressed in a black suit and a colored shirt that almost matched his suit.

Alika was also whistling, seeing the super duper cool look from Devan, suddenly a naughty idea appeared in her mind.

"Hi darling." Devan greeted him again, but the word 'darling' did not know who he was showing it to because the two women in front of him were equally valuable to Devan.

"Hahaha, honey, who's that for? Could it be that you guys...." Alika teased while looking at Mother and Devan in turn.

His index finger occasionally pointed at Devan and then at Agatha who was only a few meters away. Netra Alika managed to catch her mother's two bright red cheeks.

Alika knows very well, at this time her mother is falling in love again or what is called second puberty. Agatha hastily took over her mind which started to be made into fantasies just because Alika kept teasing her.

Devan is as embarrassed as Agatha. He couldn't hide his happiness when he saw the two women of different ages seem to love each other.

Both Alika and Agatha mutually reinforce each other. Especially Agatha who raised Alika without a male figure.

He works from morning to night just to provide all of Alika's needs. Since the family from Planet Airraksa, Agatha no longer has a penny to survive.

If I think back, it all started when Agatha fell into a pile of dry grass. Agatha fell on her back while carrying Alika in her arms.

Agatha used her remaining strength to minimize the heavy impact as she landed on the ground. The sound of Alika's crying was heard in Agatha's arms. However, unfortunately because his condition was so weak that Agatha finally fell unconscious.
