Chapter 12

Arthur and Orion both drew their swords at almost the same time. The two of them did not fight on horseback, but instead floated in the air.

At first Arthur didn't want to fight. He held back his emotions to attack, but it was because of Orion's provocation, which made Arthur furious.

The two of them were in the air, right below the thousands of soldiers battling each other. Not many of them survived, some of them died horribly, with sword wounds and arrows stuck in their chests.

Arthur and Orion exchanged moves in the air, for a moment Orion dominated the fight. The swordsmanship Orion used was really hard for Arthur to block.

The Diamond Scales Shirt is a hereditary heirloom belonging to the Aqua nation. The Diamond Scaled Shirt is given, to every new leader of the Aqua kingdom. That's why Arthur was wearing those clothes.

Seeing the Diamond Scaled Shirt, made Orion roll his eyes, not expecting that the heirloom was real.

So far, the Diamond Scaled Shirt has only been associated with a legend. Some say, the Diamond Scales Shirt used to be the clothes that God Jupiter had, until finally his younger brother, the God Mars, managed to seize the Diamond Scales Shirt.

The Diamond Scaled Shirt wasn't just a battle suit, but the Diamond Scaled Shirt also held great power within it. Whoever had the Diamond Scaled Shirt, he would be respected and feared on the battlefield.

Even though he had the Diamond Scaled Shirt, and the heirloom sword in his hands, it didn't calm Arthur in the slightest. What's more, seeing the number of troops he brought, it actually decreased so quickly.

However, there were also many casualties on Orion's side as well. Arthur had little hope, that he and his army would win the war, and turn the tide of the battle.

"Why are you silent? Are you afraid that the troops you brought will be defeated by my troops?"

Arthur woke up from his daydream, then a smile graced his lips, "My army lost? Hahaha, you haven't seen the true strength of the Aqua Nation."

The smile slowly faded from Arthur's face, as he drew his sword again.

"Thunderbolts tore the earth!"

Arthur poured a lot of profound energy into his sword, instantly creating a high shockwave. Golden light was visible and shaped like a thunderbolt.

The light of lightning flashed swiftly towards Orion, forcing the man back several meters, but not falling to the ground.

"Unlucky!" Orion cursed in annoyance, clutching his aching chest, when he was hit by a wave of lightning from Arthur's sword.

Orion tried to rebalance his position. However, at the same time Arthur returned, releasing a second shockwave.

Now, Orion didn't let the attack hit his body. Orion tried to ward it off with the sword he had.

Even though his attack was repelled, Arthur didn't just stand still. He re-flowed his inner strength into his heirloom sword, instantly an even more powerful shockwave rushed over to Orion.

The lightning wave could be warded off by Orion. However, the risks involved are also great. You can see the scratch of a thread on Orion's sword, which suddenly makes Orion cursed in annoyance.

He gritted his teeth, "You have cracked my sword, this time I won't play around anymore."

Orion narrowed his distance from Arthur, forcing Arthur to dodge several meters, when Orion's profoundly charged sword struck his blade.

The two swords clashed, but this time Arthur had to be thrown. However, it did not make him fall from a height.

"Your Excellency!" exclaimed Zeus, while continuing to draw his sword at the existing opponents.

There are countless soldiers who died in his hands. Zeus kept trying to kill as many soldiers as he could.

When the powers of Arthur and Orion met, Zeus also felt how terrible the abilities of Orion and Arthur were.

Compared to him, who only understood martial techniques and war strategies, as well as the Water element that Zeus had studied since he was a child.

His experience in war is not much, but Zeus understands that one great power can change the tide of war.
