Blacksmith's Exploration of New Heaven(MMORPG)

A tale of a newly broke gambler who finds himself immersed in a world-wide phenomenon of the New MMORPG that's ground breaking for its time. With solid leveling and explanations this novels goal is to satisfy that itch for a good adventure story while having deep plot. My main focus is on making the systems fluid and solid for future world building. The Blacksmith and other supplementary systems are well thought out and should bring a few surprises along the way.

Chapter 8: Getting outside

After leaving the Blacksmith building Broken Fire could hear the Clang! of Harry starting to make new items.

As he was leaving another person entered the Blacksmith's building, as there could strangely only be one person in the building at a time.

Pretty unique compared to other guild buildings where it was a free for all, but it made sense now with all of Broken Fires knowledge. However he could still go in to the building, surmising it had something to do with Harry giving permission to him or it was his special class.

Looking at his interface he saw that it was currently 4am and he had plenty of time till sunrise, when he had decided to pay Rupert the apartment rent.

"Ha ha ha, Harry what a strange nickname" said Broken Fire out loud.

In his hurry to go outside he almost forgot about the rewards from the quest that he was drooling over a few minutes ago.

Doing the quest he got to keep all Swords and Shields that he made during the quest, Harry didn't take them.

Looking at the best sword he could equip he equipped the sword that completed the first part of the quest:

(White)Longsword:

Okay Ability: Great Slash(25 damage, 10 second cooldown)

After equipping the sword he looked towards the Ability book Instant Craft and directly applied it to his character permanently by reading it. Whenever a Ability book is read or Class Change Book is read it instantly disappears, being a one time use item.

Finally he looked at the Class Change Book: Divine Blacksmith

He pondered for a second thinking of possibilities and decided to read the book, applying it to his character.

At this point Gruv was immune to being shocked by getting items, classes, or anything special for a little bit. Fourteen special class skills being available for his future. Surely lives up to the name of Divine.

Observing the skills he got a more in depth version of what the skills actually did and it was ground breaking for a blacksmith.

Special Ability: Fast Hammering(Makes Hammering easier and more natural to you like you were born to forge, Cooldown 30 minutes)

New Special Ability: Quality Change(Changes the quality of the item being forged 1 tier upwards from where it is currently at, Cooldown 2 hours)

New Special Ability: Pounding(Pounds the enemy with a hammer or blunt object dealing 10% of the users total maximum health(Gear included) in damage, Cooldown 20 seconds)

New Special Passive Ability: Deep Breathing(Calms down the user and focuses their attention, reducing errors)

All of these skills changed forging and made it easier to succeed in forging, while the Skill Pounding actually is a unique attack skill for a blacksmith!

Considering that forging times change depending on the item, the 30 minute cooldown on Fast Hammering actually has the potential to be used multiple times in forging hard items.

For example in forging the 3 (White) Longswords for the first quest it took a average of 40 minutes to make each sword but for the Shields it took a hour just for one complete item. This changes on many factors and a longsword could even be complete in 5 minutes but the ability would not be as good as spending a whole hour on the item. With Quests obviously Broken Flame was careful in crafting every sword to look the best he could do so far.

This was also just with iron and Broken Fire assumed it would vary on what materials were being used ,how easy to forge with them, and what tier materials were used.

Since he equipped the sword he walked towards the outskirts of the city, where he could see the tall majestic mountains surrounding the city.

Once outside he saw miles of Pine trees on the mountain and beneath some of them there were some packs of Grey Mountain Wolves with people attacking the wolves.

Smiling Broken Fire approached with long sword in hand.

finished class and looking forward to explaining monster teirs and other classifications on drops of armour . Please Write a reveiw it really helps!
