Chapter 5: Who are you?

Javier wished his car could fly. The 40 minutes ride from his office to his house became less than 30. He hurriedly went inside after reaching his house and didn't even bother to park his car in the

garage, leaving it outside.

"Princess, you're awake. How are you feeling? Do you feel any pain? Tell me. When did you wake up? Are you hungry?", he asked several questions without leaving her time to respond. He then looked at the doctor asking for explanation.

"She's fine. She maybe feels exhausted because she tried to walk just after waking up," he explained.

"Princess talk to me please."

"Who are you?". 'Ouch!'

"I'm sorry. My name is Javier," he smiled widely at her. "Princess, are you hungry?"

"So, my name is Princess? I thought my name is Jane?", she looked at him confused.

"Your name is Jane, but he calls you Princess", The doctor was the one who answered. "So Jane,

do you remember who you are?"

'Who am I?' She tried to remember but her head aches. After realizing she didn't remember

who she is and feels no familiarity on the place nor the people present in the room, she reluctantly answered the question with a simple 'no'.

"It is normal that you don't remember your past. It will come back eventually. Don't worry. By

the way, I am Ian, your doctor, and she is Nelly, your personal nurse. Since you're okay. We will take our

leave. Ask Javier to call me if you need anything", He hurriedly pulled the nurse and as quick as a

lightning, they left the room.

They were left alone in the room. Even though she feels no familiarity on the man, she feels secure and comfortable with him holding her hand. She stared at him familiarizing his face.

'So, his name is Javier'. He's handsome. He has sexy jaw line, his eyes are blue and even though he doesn't have full lips he's are more gorgeous. She likes to hear his voice again but she is too

embarrassed to ask.

"Are you hungry?", He broke the silence. He didn't wait her answer, he pressed the intercom

and ask for food.

"Do you need something else?", he asked after sitting down again in the bed.

"Mm", the only words that came out of her mouth and fell into her sleep.

Noticing that she had fallen asleep, Javier covered her with blankets and silently went out the room. He found Ian leaning at hallway wall.

"Anything?" He asked.

"She fell asleep", Javier answered.

"Jane is sure smart, man! Even though she can't remember anything, she didn't freaked out. Any

additional information about her past?" Ian tried to feed his curiosity.

"What does it has to do with you?" Javier gave him a cold look.

"I am a doctor, remember? Do you think I would just sit back and relax after finding something interesting?", Ian can't hide his interest. If Jane wasn't Javier's woman, he might have drained her blood

for his experiment.

"Don't you dare." Javier's face is full with murderous look as he looked at him.

"Okay, okay! But what about this. I would ask Jane if she would allow me to get a sample of her

blood. You know, with her permission?" He would not let this opportunity pass. As a doctor, finding

unique things that would help in the field of medicine and would make him famous is an ultimate

dream.

"You know what would happen if you are going to ask her, Ian"

He feels a chills on his spine as Javier look at him like he would savor him alive.

'This man is sure dangerous.' "I get it man", he said raising his both hands in the air as sign of giving up. He would rather not become famous than to die without finding a beautiful wife and bearing

a child.
