Black Clover: Undefined

Beliefs, religion, and culture helped humanity thrive. They helped build societies, civilizations, and kingdoms. However, we cannot say that they are indeed morally good. This fanfiction tells the story of a young man who became the victim of such beliefs. After finding out the truth, he sets out to be what society thought of him to be. The one and only, devil child. I don't own the cover picture. Of course the same goes for Black Clover. --------------------

Chapter 39

After seeing the commotion, Koyori immediately runs towards it. There, she sees many people and… Hisashi. He was stabbed by six people in black as he stood there, unmoving.

"Hisashi?" Everyone looked at her but she didn't notice… or she didn't care.

"Hisashi!" She ran to him without minding the others. Reaching in time, she catches him just before he falls to the ground.

--A few minutes ago--

"Where's Hisashi?" Koyori asks as Usuma walks behind them.

"That kid? I'll take you to him. That's why I came for you guys." He said to them.

"Take us to him? Where is he!?" Koyori got even angrier. He remembers who Usuma is and is confused about how he managed to come here. She also wanted to ask about the dark dome but he said that he didn't know it.

"Don't worry, he's moving but he'll be at the north of the town when we reach him," Usuma said to her. After opening the dungeon door, Usuma told them or else, he would kill them. At first, they didn't believe them until Masaru attacks him. Without even breaking a sweat, he defeated Masaru and threatens Koyori, which prompted them to follow.

Now walking back to the town, Masaru looks at his wife and Koyori. When they reached a slightly rocky area, Masaru quickly moved and tackles Usuma. He then uses his scroll to conjure a few water spells.

"Koyori! Run!" Furukawa said to her daughter. Seeing this, the kid quickly runs and headed in the northern direction. As Masaru held Usuma down, Koyori was able to leave their vision.

Masaru struggled harder as he felt Usuma overwhelming him. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his chest.

"Masaru!" Furukawa calls out as she sees her husband stabbed with a floating wind sword. She then stumbles as she also felt something pierce her back. Because Masaru was stabbed, Usuma was able to stand up.

However, he looked nothing like the previous man that he did. He has a pair of horns protruding from the side of his head. Along with that, a weird black marking appeared on the lower half of his face.

"God bestowed me this blessing. I have no shame no matter how you would think about this." He then crouches down to Masaru's body.

"I wanted to kill you, along with your little annoying daughter in front of him, but he's being controlled. Of course, I just have to kill that annoying old man to release him. But since you retaliated… eh, it's not a big deal." Usuma then stood back up. But before he can take a step forward, his leg was grabbed by Masaru.

He just looks at him with disgust on his face before summoning another wind sword in his hands and finally killing him.

"Now, for the most important gift," Usuma said to himself as he summons a sword made out of pure white. It wasn't the same white sword made of wind, but a pure, crystal white sword with white yoryoku gathering around it.

'Huh? Those people killed me.' Hisashi thought to himself as he saw a vision of his death. Suddenly, everything became clear in his mind. Just when he felt a piercing pain all over his body, he felt a very familiar Ki. A presence that wasn't supposed to be here.

He didn't hear her call for him at first, but as he falls, he finally regained his senses. There, he saw a familiar face with a panicking expression.

"Hisashi!" He hears clearly in his ear.

"Koyori? How… How are you here?" Hisashi replies in a low voice.

"You promised me that you won't die!" Koyori said as tears and yoryoku pour into Hisashi's body. She never developed any healing magic even so, she can't help but try.

"I'm dying? How?" Hisashi was disoriented. Finally remembering his vision, he realized that this time, he wasn't able to avoid it.

Sadly, their reunion was interrupted when one of the Yami Clan members appears behind Koyori and raises his sword. The moment he slashed down, however, a water shield appears in his way and blocked it.

This causes him to back off and it also alerts the other remaining attackers. The water shield then turns into a bubble and levitated to Hisashi.

Not long after, he stood up, without any injuries in his body. There, he was able to see his fallen mother and father on the foot of his 'grandfather'. This causes him to release a rush of killing intent that even Kusho felt chills.

Without saying a word, fiery claws up to his shoulders, and lightning boots up to his thighs appears in Hisashi's body. A large surge of red lightning also came out of his eyes. Expecting the kid to attack him, Kusho prepares and fully focused his Ki.

On the contrary, Hisashi merely held his arms upwards. Seeing this, one of the attackers draws their weapon and ran towards Hisashi. He summons a dark armguard and shinguard with his spell.

Somewhere in the woods, two katanas laying on the ground start to tremble. Thereafter, it levitates in the air and shoots out to the sky. Like an arrow, it flew in a trajectory as the two became enveloped in red lightning and red yoryoku.

As the attacker reaches Hisashi, something appeared on the kid's hands. He then saw that it was a katana that was swinging in his way. But before he realized it, he saw his vision flip and several body parts on the ground.

The moment the sword reaches Hisashi's hand, two spells are immediately cast.

[Fire Sorcery: Shuchou no Yobigoe] (Call of the Vermillion Bird)

[Lightning Sorcery: Raijin no Gekido] (Rage of the Thunder God)

Each spell enveloped the two swords and slashed the attacker diagonally. Even his weapon and dark guard spells were useless as Hisashi easily ended his life.

This froze everyone on the spot and were surprised again when he vanished. He reappeared again behind Ichika's back along with his father, mother, and Koyori. The controlled Ichika saw this and acted fast.

Suddenly, red lightning appeared on her nape and she slowly returns to normal. This causes her to lose consciousness. Seeing all the wounds on his family members, Hisashi quickly cast a water-healing spell.

He was devastated however after failing to detect his parent's Ki and yoryoku. On the other hand, Ryuya took care of Ichika while Sukehiro held Koyori. Seeing no change, Hisashi changes from water to plant, then to fire. However, there is no reaction to them and his yoryoku surges out.

Enveloping the whole town, the remaining people felt their breathing become heavy. Not only that, their brains were overwhelmed by a dense pressure of yoryoku that paralyzed their whole body. This includes Sukehiro and the others.

Mustering their strength to attack, one of the attackers jumped from the roof and gravity did the job to bring him to Hisashi.

The next instant, Hisashi's faced him and his whole body turned was sliced into dozens of pieces before he can even touch any of them. This didn't only spray blood on everyone but also Hisashi. His red and white yukata turned all red. Even his skin was dyed with blood but his expression didn't change for one bit.

'Jeimi, I think that we're both wrong.' Hisashi thought to himself, finally realizing the phenomenon of his body.

'The reason for my mentality changing isn't me seeing my death. My mentality isn't even changing, merely amplified. All of this yoryoku isn't mine, but a part of me at the same time. Moreover, I finally discover who Michael is. He is… me, and I am him.

The vision of death isn't a trigger, but a large consumption of yoryoku. And the more yoryoku I use, the more it amplifies it. And as for what I think of this? I believe, that anyone who is a threat to me… must die!'

Hisashi then looks at the four remaining attackers. Since the pressure dispersed, they were all able to move back again, and seeing how strong Hisashi has become, they all took a pill from their clothes.

They all digested it and they quickly felt the boost in their bloodlust, physical strength, and yoryoku along with the new demonic look. They didn't hesitate and rushed toward Hisashi but before they can do so, he disappears and reappeared behind one of them.

With that is a flying severed head of one of their ally. Suddenly, the lightning boots on his right leg turned into fiery boots and his right arm became a lightning claw instead of a fire one. He once again disappears from their sight and another one of their companions died with a burst of fire coming out of his body.

The remaining two see this and thought about taking the others hostage. But the same is true for them as one of them was cut into three vertically while one has had his brains blown out.

"This kid! This kid is a real devil!" Kusho screams as he starts to back out. Realizing that he has no choice, he gathers all of his yoryoku and tried to catch and subdue Hisashi like he did before. Although it would be taxing, he has no other choice. Not only that, he can't remove nor decrease the size of the dome in exchange for a spare yoryoku.

Before he can even immobilize the kid with the acute gravity manipulation, he felt pain in his hands and red lightning came out of it. Then, he felt his body being squeezed. He realized by now that Hisashi has somehow copied his spell and that's how he free Ichika too.

The next he saw was red lightning all over his dome too and disappears. He doesn't know how Hisashi is using his spell without the dome's influence but that isn't the time to ask it now. Now, his body is levitating above Hisashi as he looks down on the kid, quite ironic.

"Wait! Wait! Let's talk!" Kusho pleads as he gets his body crushed even harder.

"Let go! You little fucker! Let-" Hisashi didn't even let him finish and crushed the old man. The blood sprayed down to Hisashi fully dying his small body with the blood of his enemies.

I wanted to give him a longer screen time. However, i thought that he's getting dragged and he doesn't realy threat much of a pose to Hisashi given his old age with trickery. Hisashi also doesn't give any mercy so it was only right for him to not let him finish. Whatchuthink?
