"Mister Ario! It's good to see you again!"

"Hey, kid...good to see you too," I replied with a smile, as I patted her head, before adding, "I'm surprised you recognized me in this disguise."

"Well, my uncle told me you were coming, and the other person with you is a woman, so this had to be you by default," Vella shrugged with a grin, before adding, "I'm glad you're the one who's going to be guarding me, but...I'm sorry, I'm probably inconveniencing you..."

We'd just arrived at the Vizero mansion, and as we got out of the car, Vella came bounding over to greet me. 

"No, not at all, I'm glad I can help. Don't worry, I'll make sure you're able to have fun at your school cultural festival today," I assured her as I ruffled her hair playfully. 

"I won't have anything to worry about if you're the one protecting me, it's-...," She began, before trailing off as Frou walked over and stared at her closely, Vella adding awkwardly, "U-um, what it is, Miss...?"
