They slowly got up from the booth and made their way to the door. The feds had already taken out the three in the parking lot, so all they had to worry about was the two in the diner. The plan was they give the glasses to the feds and drive away.
“He has a gun!” One of the Hamilton cops took out his gun and began to shoot making his move too soon. Dante saw it and suddenly the place was a shooting gallery. Tom pushed Robbie and Robbie looked up at him panicked. Tom shoved him under a booth. Bullets went flying all over the diner bouncing off the metal counters and back splash. Tom stood in front of the booth where he had tucked Robbie.
