Lila's POV

/"Baby, we're here./" Alarix gently shook me.

I blinked a few times before opening my eyes fully. /"Have we landed already?/" I asked.

I sat up slowly and glanced at Alarix. He looked like he hadn't slept; he looked drained. His hair was all dishevelled like he'd ran his fingers through his hair continuously.

He nodded and smiled at me. /"We have the car journey now, but we should be there soon./" He replied, standing up.

I climbed off the bed and stretched. /"Did you sleep at all?/" I questioned.

/"No, but I'm ok./" He smiled. I raised my brow at him before smiling and nodding.

/"That was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in./" I chuckled, pulling on my shoes.

/"I could tell... You were snoring./" He smirked.

I turned around and gasped. /"I do not!/" I groused. He winked, then chuckled, shaking his head.

/"No, you don't./" He joshed, amusement twinkling in his eyes.
