Lila's POV.

/"I'm glad you're here too,/" I replied. I planted a firm kiss over his heart before gazing up at him. /"More than you know./" I breathed. /"So... Are you hungry?/" I questioned.

He smiled down at me shaking his head. /"Are you sure? You could hunt? I could make you something? You could feed on me?/" I fired questions at him. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I was acting like his mum... A good mum, at least.

I want to make sure he's comfortable and happy here. I don't want him to feel embarrassed or to hide when he needs to feed. Once in a while, Lola hunts. It's not necessary as human food works just as well for us, but Lola likes giving in to her animalistic side now and again.

He shook his head and smiled down at me. /"Lila, baby, I promise I'm ok./" He chuckled.

I nodded and sighed. /"Sorry, I badgered you with the questions,/" I muttered awkwardly.
