Grace invited Summer Violet over for dinner and ordered a meal for three.

Joe Muir smiled and poured Grace a glass of water. He said,"Even though you have exams coming up and need to work hard, don't wear yourself out.

Grace's heart felt empty and flooded with pain at Joe's words.

She replied,"I know." Grace tried to smile. The only way to forget all the unpleasantness was to feast and fill her empty stomach for the rest of the day.

Joe Muir propped his cheeks on one hand and quietly watched Grace's adorable face as she ate.

Grace urged Joe Muir to hurry up and move his chopsticks.'If you don't like the cafeteria's food, I'll be hurt. It's rare that I treat you once.'

Joe replied,'I like it.' Joe Muir picked up the chopsticks. He was just about to eat when a tall and long figure appeared, enveloping the dining table. The previously harmonious atmosphere immediately became weird.

Her heart raced with fear, and she dropped her chopsticks on the table.

Suddenly, Holden, the prince of Horizon Enterprises, approached her and flipped the table, causing rice to spill everywhere.

Grace looked up and met Holden's gaze, which was filled with malice. Grace screamed in shock, and Joe Muir quickly pulled her behind him, splashing soup on her in the process.

The cafeteria erupted with similar screams. Holden's fearsome character caused everyone to flee. However, some did not want to miss the chance to see a good show, so they clustered into the corner of the cafeteria and whispered.

They were all lifting the table, and it was clear that Holden was really mad.

The cafeteria was filled with a scream of disbelief as a major fight broke out.

Grace lunged at Joe Muir, but Sophie pushed her back.

Sophie hissed,'Grace, I hate you! You're just as cheap as your mom!'

Grace couldn't take Sophie's repeated insults to her mom any longer and grabbed a bench off to the side, slamming it right into Sophie.

The cafeteria erupted in another shriek of shock that Grace had the audacity to hit Sophie.

Everyone looked to Holden, concluding that Grace's time was up.

Joe Muir stood up and positioned himself in front of Sophie.

Grace gasped,'Joe!'

Before she could react, Holden grabbed her wrist and pulled her outside.

'Let go!' Grace struggled as Holden's grip tightened.

Everyone in Los Angeles knew that offending Holden was like invoking Satan and could make your life worse than death. They were all shocked and followed to watch what Holden would do with Grace.

Grace yelled,'Let go! You let go!'

Holden threw Grace into the black Bentley parked outside the cafeteria. He didn't care that they were on campus; he had the right to drive the car and sped down the road.

Joe Muir rushed out after him but was stopped by Sophie.

"Joe! You need to stop offending Holden because of Grace! Behave, okay!" Sophie cried and pleaded.

Joe Muir broke away from Sophie's hands.

Sophie felt a knife cut through her heart as she watched Joe Muir chase after someone. She cried out,'Joe Muir, come back here!'

Grace saw Joe Muir running wildly and Holden stepped on the gas, driving so fast that they almost hit Summer Violet who was rushing to the cafeteria.

Grace was frightened and rapped on the car window, trying to call for help.

Summer Violet chased after the car for a few steps but was left far behind.

Holden growled,'Quiet.' With a sharp turn, he left campus and galloped down the highway, scaring Grace into not moving again. She felt chills leaping up her spine, fearing that her life would end on the road.

In a dry, shaky voice, Grace asked him,'What the hell are you doing?'
