Carmel walked into the office while holding her brother's hands and everyone was elite telling her 'get well soon ' or looking at her with sad eyes which made a bit uncomfortable since she wasn't really the type of person that I liked much attention.

Connor noticed her tension and asked everyone to concentrate on their work while they walked into the empty elevator. Thinking about what the outing with Connor will be for she hadn't done it for so many years and now that's he's being all caring she loved it but it was slowly making her uncomfortable.

"This place looks really good." Connor commented as they walked into their work space and she smiled.

"Well you have never really been here so how about I look for wherever it is that I threw that camera while you go on a tour with Julie."

"Who is that?" He questioned and she opened the door to her assistant office to see her behind the neck.

"Ma'am you're back." she immediately stood up from the bed and hugged her "... How are you feeling now? I'm so sorry I wasn't able to come for a visit. Things have been really busy around here ever since your accident, I'm sorry."

"Hey! Handling this place is more than enough, any orders?"

"Yeah some books, acrylic paintings and a sculpture that Oliver is working on presently."

"What type of sculpture? I mean what does the person sculpt?"

"A flamingo on one leg."

"And how is it going?"

"He is pretty fast with it but you don't have to worry about anything, we will take care of things while you're being pampered and taken care of. If not , if you come here we will chase you back home."

"But I own this place?"

"That doesn't matter ma'am, you will have to be fine before we can allow you to come back to the company."

"Yes ma'am, how about you take my brother here on a tour."

"Sure thing ma'am." Connor followed her and for the first time he was really happy she was working here and this was the company she started by herself without a single help from their parents.

Connor always knew she was hard working and would get things done on her own but he never considered her to have a business mind or rather the ability to own such a huge company, he always takes everything she said as a joke but looking at everything she has spent years establishing made him feel proud and bad for the fact that he never believed in her.

Elena's death was exactly what threw them apart and they began to fight every single day to a point where if they were even going to speak to each other it was something insultive which even their parents were unable to stop.

Carmel tried to get close eto him again countless times but just like always he shut the door in her face and told nje eto never come to him again.

Regardless of the fact that none of them looked exactly like their parents as a matter of fact they looked more like Elena but Connor took his mother's blonde hair and Caramel was the photocopy of Elena for they had ebony black hair just like their father and he saw Elena every single time he looked at her.

He loved this sister without a doubt but the fact that he kept seeing Elena anytime he looked at her made him push her away and not caring about her one bit anymore regardless of what she said.

Connor took Elena's death to heart more than anything, to tell you the truth the only reason he was close to his parents were because of the business that he was handling but anything concerning his personal life he never lets anyone in no matter how much they try for that reason he didn't even want a relationship for he knew he will have to share this life with another and he didn't want anyone getting close to him and leaving like Elena did.

He was completely surprised when he saw a portrait of the whole family including Elena when they were still little long before Elena died and he brushed his hand against the show glass case that it was in.

"Why is this in a shoe glass?" He asked and she let out a small smile.

"When ma'am painted this she was in tears throughout as she painted, we had no idea who these people were since we really didn't know her family members and she talks about you guys a lot. I had asked her why she was crying and she told me that I was gonna find out after she was down and I was completely lost in the situation."

"Did you get to find out?"

"Yeah after months. I come here every single day to look at it trying not figure out why she cried but I didn't see it still after five months when I decided have the portrait out of the glass for cleaning and I noticed the frame removing when only meant she didn't put the glue normal uses in frames and when I removed the top frame piece I saw something written 'Memories of a life that's been loved', when I removed the left side I saw 'I just need the pain to be gone' the right side ' I don't wanna live like this Elena, I hate it ' and at the bottom 'Because in the end, when you lose somebody every candle, every prayer is not gonna make up for the fact that the only thing that you have left, Is a hole in your life where that somebody that you cared about use to be' and behind the picture ' Elena you left but you left me with four holes and I can't even understand how I lost. " Julie wiped the tears in her eyes. "... I don't know what happened to her but I want you to know that she loved everyone and cares for everyone but she holds a lot of pain in her heart and trust me it's gonna cause her a damage that all of you won't realize until she's gone."

"Why didn't anyone inform us about this earlier?"

"Because she forbade me to and I figured she didn't wanna tell anyone but since I found out I tried my best to take care of her."

"Doesn't she have friends?"

"I've never really seen one, I'm her best friend and I can assure you that the only contacts on her phone are the ones of clients."

"I am a terrible twin, aren't I?"

"I wouldn't say that because I don't know how you all live but if you are her twin how didn't you know something was up?"

"I did but she never told me and I was pulling away from her because she looked a lot more like Elena and..."

"It hurts to see the face of someone who you love."

"Exactly, the moment I saw her I saw Elena and when she had that car crash I remembered exactly how Elena died. To tell you the truth, a part of me thought she was also gone along with Elena and I was left alone."

"Well God did give you a second chance so I think you should make good use of that opportunity because she's the sweetest thing anyone could ever have"

"Thank you Julie." She gave him a smile and they proceeded to look at the rest of the paintings or sculptures done by the company.

Carmel looked around her office for the camera, she knew she had dropped it somewhere but couldn't really remember where. She opened her paint closet and found it laying there.

She picked it up and saw a paper underneath it which made her furrowed her eyebrows in confusion but she picked it anyway turns out it wasn't a paper rather it was a photo of her in her first art exhibition which made her laugh because of how nervous she looked.

That girl would have never dreamed of owning this company right now or being the top artist in San Diego but she knew that girl will be so proud of what she has become even if it was hard getting to that position.

"You didn't find it?" She heard Connor's voice from behind her and she jumped in fear "... Relax, it's just me."

"You scared me, don't sneak up on me like that."

"Sorry."

"And yes I found it."

"Did you wake up one day? I decided to splash that wall with colors." he pointed towards the end of the room as he put his hand around her waist from behind and she laughed.

"I was so mad that morning and I just couldn't vent it out on anyone because it's not a nice thing to just decide to ruin someone's mood because you're mad, so I picked any glass bottle of colors my hands touched and smashed it on the wall."

"Didn't you hurt yourself."

"I little but I just needed to let it out and after I was done I changed my clothes and decided not to change it because it looked so good" they both laughed.
