Are you playing hard to get

Two days went back without any issues, The Smith and the Davidon family were busy controlling the public opinion. Their shares had fallen by ten points each. Lillian and Winona stopped causing trouble to Naomi. 

Naomi spent most of her time making designs and exercising. She already completed the syllabus for the next year. She found that it's easier for her to study as she was able to recollect most of the syllabus from her last life.

Naomi was about to go to sleep when the system beeped "Upgradation complete" Naomi was curious to know what changes would she find because of the upgraded version, she shot up from her bed and entered the system space. The system greeted her "Welcome back host" 

Naomi  said "System, what changes are available after upgrading?" System  replied "Host, now you can also purchase anything from the future store in exchange for points. The number of times for which you will be able to use the thing that you purchase from the future store is predetermined." Naomi felt excited when she heard this, buying futuristic gadgets would be really useful for her.

  Naomi then went ahead to check her trading account. The first company that she had invested in gave her a ten times profit. She had invested hundred and fifty dollars in every company. The returns she got from the first one was ten times making it one thousand five hundred dollars. 

The second company gave her a twelve times profit. Thus making it one thousand eight hundred dollars and the third and fourth company both gave fifteen percent profit each. So a total of four thousand five hundred dollars. She applied for withdrawal from all four companies. Now her account balance shot up to seventeen thousand and seven hundred dollars.

She then kept five thousand seven hundred in her account for her living expenses and invested the rest in trading for two different foreign companies that she was sure would make a huge profit within five days. She wanted to start up her own company soon for which she needed to get a few trustworthy people as well as a lot of money as the startup capital. After she was done with investment she submitted all her design drafts that she had made while the system was offline. Later she asked the system to start installing a beginner level of cooking skills. She had two thousand points with her out of which she had already used up one thousand seven hundred points and now she used up another hundred points. She was left with only two hundred points. After leaving from the system Naomi went straight to bed.

Next day Naomi woke up earlier than usual and went for a run. After returning she had a bath and got ready to go out to meet Gina. As today is a holiday from school she made plans to go shopping with Gina. She wore a floral patterned dress coupled with a handbag and medium length heel shoes. She let her hair drape over her shoulder. After getting ready she walked out from the Smith Villa and took a cab to the mall where she was supposed to meet Gina. 

When she reached the mall she was immediately able to spot Gina standing at the entrance of the mall. The two girls then walked inside the mall hand in hand. They went through various stores and purchased a few sets of clothes and jewelry. On the same floor Lillian had come to buy a few clothes with Richard. When Lillian entered the changing room to try on some clothes, Richard spotted Naomi walking around with Gina with a few shopping bags in hand. She was smiling brightly and talking. Richard could't get his eyes off her. Before he could even realize he started walking towards her.

When Naomi saw Richard she totally ignored him as if he was a stranger and directly walked past him. Richard felt irritated and he grabbed her wrist. Naomi frowned and looked at him saying "Mr. Davidson can you please explain why you stopped me?" When Richard heard her address him in such a distant way he felt even more displeased. And he spoke with gritted teeth "Why did you walk past me while totally ignoring me?" Naomi smiled and said "Mr. Davidson did you really expect that your ex fiance should greet you with a smile?"

Richard sneered and said "You weren't like this in the past. Even the way you dress has changed. Are you trying to play hard to get, in order to get my attention?"
