Chapter 55 Part 1 Kylie Tagged Along!

Ileana while strolling downstairs bumped into her father, Graham Tyler. She didn't respond much and continued. When Graham saw his daughter, he smiled, and tried to strike a conversation.

“Ileana, when did you come back?” he asked, showing excitement.

“Yes,” she replied blankly.

He shrugged and asked further, “How have you been lately? Is everything good at your in-laws’ house?”

“Good,” she replied monotonously.

“How is your work going, is it okay?” he asked again begrudgingly.

“Yes,” she answered.

For most of his questions she answered him in one word. It was really rare. For the first time, she had been given importance by her father. So much he cared, but she knew deep down what his intentions were. It wasn’t something with familial ties or affections, but personal gains. He was someone who would only look up for his own benefits.

As soon as Ileana reached the center of the living room, Graham didn’t beat around the bush anymore.
