Chapter 33 Part 3 Devouring It Endlessly

The next morning, on her way to work, Ileana got a phone call. Ileana’s forehead creased upon the caller id. It was her aunt Melisa, she somehow brought the phone near her ear.

“Hello, aunt,” Ileana greeted softly.

“Ileana, I have to tell you something,” Melisa announced cheeringly.

“What?” Ileana asked doubtfully.

“Thank you so much, your uncle has been released. We’ll always remember your favor…” Melisa said excitedly and sincerely.

Ileana’s eyes widened in surprise upon receiving the news. Uncertainty was written all over her face, she questioned in a whisper.

“What? When? He has been released?!”

“Yes, dear, last night, all credit goes to you. We’ll pay you a visit in the afternoon.” Melisa replied humbly.

Ileana muttered, gritting her teeth, “No… It’s not what…”

Before her words could finish, Melisa had already hung up the call.
