" I think she is here" I mumbled, Draven quickly pressed a button and the glass wind down automatically, revealing Melanie face, as I guessed 😃

I feel like calling her name, but I don't know the force that keeps preventing me from shouting her name, before I could get myself together, Draven as proceeded to open the car door, and stepped out before I could even say a word. I stayed silently, waiting for the two to enter, so we can leave this place. My skin feel numb, and my body feels weak but am not hungry even if I am, I won't be able to put anything into my mouth. After waiting silently, under the dim light that was glistening above my head, I pushed the door opened, with aim of asking them what they are not coming in. But to my amusement, immediately I pushed the door opened, the first person my eyes landed on is the least person I expected to see, not even tonight. I became hyperventilating, almost immediately, forgotten how to breath, and also struggling for air. The look on his face was mixed with different emotions, his face flickered as gazed into mine, but was replaced with the stoic look am used to. In my mind, I can't stop thinking that he knew everything about my father, maybe that's why he is here, a pure sympathy, right?

Melanie quickly rushed to my side, supporting me.

"You are up?" Draven asked, making me wonder why he meant by that.

"Just stay still, we are leaving immediately" he added, before I could even say a word

Melissa's pov

"Just stay still, we are leaving immediately" he added, before I could even say a word, I darted back my attention to Bobby who was now standing alone looking at our Small drama.

"Are you okay?"  His voice sounded like he was being forced to ask me that, Draven chuckled silently, looking at my reaction.

"I think we should leave now" Draven muttered, gesturing to Melanie to help me back into the car. For some reason, a hint of jealousy is clearly shown in his voice. Wait why are the being like this? It somehow makes me feel uncomfortable, like I'm the main reason why they are behaving like a stranger towards themselves. I don't dispute the fact that they are not used to each other before, nor do they share the family Bond. But it's okay, this is not the perfect time to be thinking about something like this. 

"If you don't mind, I can take her back to the mansion," Bobby suggested. I raised my head to look at his Stoic face, surprised at the same time. I slightly jerked away Melanie's hand that was holding my waist. Draven on the other hand was fuming with anger alby his statement, don't ever bother to hide it, very obvious, , he shot him  an irritating look.

"She doesn't come with you, so she is.....

" It's fine, let me go with him" I don't know what pushed my voice off the cliff, I just found myself saying it before I could even think. Both Bobby and Draven darted their eyes to me in surprise. Draven opened his mouth to say something but quickly closed it back, the look on his face, I'm sure he felt disappointed, Bobby on the other hand seemed surprised, it's very clear that he never expected me to accept his offer, easily.  Yes, I dislike him, And I know that, maybe it is because of what he had done in the past, and also his present behaviours towards me,but I have no idea that my subconscious mind didn't agree with me on that.

"Melissa, are you sure you are okay with that? '' Melanie asked, her expression doesn't look like she was surprised, making me curious if she has been expecting me to say that. I only nodded.

I can see Draven moving to and fro without saying a word from the corner of my eyes. I hope I have not made a serious mistake, I thought silently, I won't like a situation whereby he will be angry with me. .

"Just wait here, I will go get my car" Bobby voice cut my thoughts off, Melanie who has been looking at me since, hand wrapped on my waist, she used her other hand to open the car door for me, and gestured to me to sit on the brown leather which i did immediately. I stared down, looking at my finger, I don't know if I should beg Draven or not. Anyway, there is still enough time after tonight, when the twilight fades away. I just want to escape today, just today, I slowly buried my head into my palms.
