15. HOPE

Charlotte's POV

"Charlie, are you ready baby?"

Hope knocks on my bedroom door. I look at that door and now I am really confused? Ready and for what? Whatever I am not interested to become ready for anything. I am too much tensed for anything at all. I am tensed to even move my body even an inch. I am eating an ice cream with silent music in my room. I completely shut down my brain. Nothing can move my brain cells even a bit. Because a little shake and I will remember the entire drama which happen today. Ahhhaaa! Charlie no no no! don't go there. Freeze your brain again. Just listen the music and keep your brain at one line only.

"What the hell Girl!"

Hope! Man!! Mom was right. I should start living alone instead of living with someone. I have 0 privacy in my life.

"Are you mad Hope? Don't disturb me at all. I am very busy. You do whatever you want but don't invade my privacy for today. We will talk tomorrow. Bye and yeah close the door behind your back."

She looks at me with irritating face.

"Seriously Charlie. Just look at the mirror and what have you done to yourself. You are into so more clothes that no one can see you. People at your age are wearing literal minimum clothes and you are here in I don't know how many clothes."

"OK."

"okay. Just okay." She comes near my bed and sit in front of me. Why this girl does not leave me alone? I look at her. She is looking at me condition from head to toe. I know I am looking very bad. She takes my ice cream tub from my hand and put it adjacent table.

"You are disturbing my aura Hope. Go away anywhere you want just don't disturb me."

"Do not repeat your sentences and enough of your drama. I can't handle this anymore. And I need some nice time."

"So go and enjoy your nice time na. I am too much tensed to do anything now. Please Hope."

Please Charlie. I am telling you, don't overthink things. We will find a new job for you. And you will tell Mr. Ryan everything and at the same time give him your resignation letter. Just throw it on his face and then leave with attitude. Done."

I look at her face with my dreamy eyes on. What a nice plan.

"Really Hope. Is this all so simple? Do you remember how difficult that time was when I found this job? I am just hoping to find new job as soon as I can because you know one more meet with him and I can't lie anymore. And there are 90% chances that I will come face to face with him tomorrow morning only. So, leave me alone in my sad vibes." With that I again take my ice cream in my hand. But maybe Hope come into my room with decision of becoming extra stubborn. She again took my tube and placed on the table.

"Enough is enough. We will find a way out of this. We always do remember. Please na Charlie. Let's go outside and enjoy the night. We will handle whatever happens tomorrow. And if you think let's tell Mr. Ryan everything tomorrow. And we will get done with this chapter. You tell him you just panicked and didn't tell him anything that time. If he gets angry..."

I was looking at her with expecting face the whole time because truly the plan is really nice and quiet reliving but what next.....

"Then?"

"Then give resign."

"What are you talking about Hope? You know I can't afford to be unemployed right now."

"Yes, I know Charlie. But don't you think it's better than being in tension all the time and don't worry I will handle your financial situation till you find new job."

I don't know how I got so lucky to have friend like Hope in my life. Dad always used to say there is angel in everyone's life and Hope is mine. this is not first time she is helping me. She belongs to a rich family but when she heard that I am leaving Home because of my mom she just moved in with him. She left all her richness aside and building her life on her own terms. I am really proud of her. I just have no words to say anything. I hug her tightly.

"You're right. Let's tell him everything tomorrow and get rid of it. Yes."

"That's my girl. Now let's get up and get ready super sexy. We are going out."

"Yeah, we will go but can we just do it tomorrow. As ill tell him tomorrow I will be tension free and then can enjoy the night in true sense."

"Yes, that is true so we will enjoy again tomorrow but we already have plans today."

"What are you talking about?"

"Charlie how can you forget? You promised Daphne. Remember? She must be waiting for us in the club. Now don't give me that puppy face. Get up and get ready."

I look at her face. I can't say no now. Seriously Daphne must be waiting for us there and it will be too much rude to leave her alone. Maybe that is why Daphne was calling me some time back but I ignored her call to enjoy my depressing time.

I get up and open the cupboard. I don't have anything sexy to wear. I turn and there is my best friend!

"I know that you have all boring clothes. So here it is. Wear this."

I look at the dress. It is mid-thigh dress with slight cut at left side. The neck is normal from front but completely backless. It is super sexy in real sense.

"Uhh this is really nice. But actually, this is not for me Hope. I will wear some simple dress."

"Oh please dramatic girl. Just go and wear it."

I look at her and I can tell she is not going to take no for an answer. Let's go and get ready Charlie.

I change and Charlie did some light makeup on me.

"Oh my God! Charlie. You are looking breath taking right now. Any man today can fall for you easily."

I don't know why I blush but Mr. Ryan's face suddenly comes in front of my eyes. What the hell! WHAT THE HELL!! How can I think about my boss like this!

"What happened Charlie? Your face is changing drastically from dreamy to horror!"

"nothing let'ss go Hope. Lets make this night the best night of life."
