You Can't Even Perform Such a Small Task

"It can actually understand you?" Pei Yao seemed to have discovered a new world.
"Yeah, this little pink lizard is especially smart." Chi Jiao said.
The little pink lizard lifted its little head proudly, obviously responding to her praise.
Pei Yao gave the lizard a thumbs-up.
However, to encourage the little pink lizard to work, she had to fill its stomach first. Chi Jiao took out some beef jerky from her bag for the little pink lizard to eat.
After the little pink lizard had eaten, Chi Jiao and Pei Yao washed their faces and feet before getting onto the brick bed.
Yes, there was only a heatable brick bed and an old table in the room. One couldn't afford to be picky.
Fortunately, the brick bed was very warm.
With the little pink lizard guarding the door, Chi Jiao and Pei Yao were able to relax. The two of them fell asleep not long after lying on the brick bed.
A dreamless night.
