I don’t know how long I stood hugging him and sobbing.

“I am sorry.” I whispered in between.

He didn’t say anything and simply stood there with his head down.

He unlocked my hands after a while and turned to look at me.

“You don’t need to apologise. You didn’t do anything wrong.” He said wiping my tears.

“But. My. Dad. My dad it everything.” I said while sobbing.

“Shhh…stop crying.” He said and hugged me.

I buried my face in his chest. He kept patting my back until I finally calmed down.

He broke the hug and looked at me. I must be looking so ugly right now! I must be looking like a mess!!

“Come.” He said and walked me to the center of the room.

“Sit.” He said and made me sit on the rug.

“Bryan…” I started saying but he shook his head.

He sat next to me.
