Chapter 66: A Dark Passage

As Bharat was contemplating on what to do and what not to do in this unfavorable situation hiding behind the big rock boulder which was covered by the trees he wondered if the Asuras were able to collect the Energy essence from his team members already and now what can he do to save his friends and himself including the energy essence and to return to the Interdimensional Warrior headquarters. He positioned himself against the rock boulder and laid himself there to think properly and to find a solution out of this problem. He felt guilty for not being able to do anything in this situation since now his team was held captive and soon the evil beings will be invading his central dimension to conquer the planets there and soon they will also reach earth to wreak havoc on humanity due to which his beloved family and friends will also suffer.

Bharat thought: "What should I do now that my team is captured by the Asuras? I cannot attack them directly to rescue my friends since that will be like a suicide because I will be revealing my position to them and I will also be captured by them. I do not have the option to return to the headquarters since the spaceship is already destroyed. I cannot wait here because I do not have any food or water so if I wait then also I cannot survive after a few weeks without food and water. So now it seems like death is imminent."

He was frustrated with himself and kicked the rock boulder to release his frustration, but he discovered that the place where he kicked had somewhat inserted itself towards the inside and there was also a hollow sound, but he did not feel any pain because he was in the special metallic suite provided by the International Warrior team, so he started punching the rock and saw that a part of the rock broke, making just enough space for one person to enter inside and act.

Bharat thought: "It seems to be a Dark Passage which is leading somewhere. I think I should explore the planet since there is no scope for me to rescue the team now I should try to find some other ways to save my friend. Also since it has become clear that I cannot return so I should explore more to find food since I do not have any source of food and water. So now if I have to survive then I have to find a shelter and a source of food and water."

Out of curiosity he entered inside and found that there was a dark passageway leading somewhere which he did not know since he could not see ahead also since the passage seemed to be not straight and was going downwards.

Since he did not have anything to do and could not save his team mates also he was stuck here on this planet and could not have any means to send any message or signal to the Interdimensional Warrior Headquarters at this point of time to ask for help he decided to check the passage out for the time being.

Because he also know that those Asuras may not be after him at this point of time because they already got his team however they will definitely come looking after him in large numbers to search for him for more information to know more about the International Warrior organization since he was also a part of that team and above all he was also good food for the Asuras.

So he had to search for a suitable place to hide himself though he knew that he do not have a chance to remain alive for long since there was no food and drinking water in this alien planet as no other living beings were available apart from those blasting Golden fishes which do not have any life in them which was confirmed by the computer intelligence of the transformed ship on which they were riding in the sea. Also he cannot eat the plants here since they seemed to be white and could be poisonous.

After sometime in the dark passageway as he was walking for a few minutes it bent towards the right side slanting downward so he moved ahead. The only reason he was able to see in the dark was because of the light coming from his special suite on his shoulder. After walking for a bit he found that the passage was becoming somewhat wet and the walls were becoming soft and also the floor had started sinking a bit due to the pressure of his body weight. He sensed the situation was not good and was about to turn back to return to the exit of the rock boulder; however before even he could turn himself the floor gave away and broke to swallow him inside the ground.

Bharat was startled as he dropped and continued to descend for a few minutes before impacting the water with a splash. He did not sink much because he found the floor right away since the water was not very deep, but it was pitch black darkness all around him so he immediately turned on the lights on his shoulder and stood on his feet as he saw around himself he discovered that he was knee deep in the water and on his left and right there were huge rock walls and he was actually standing on an underground river which was only knee deep. This underground river was probably heading towards the ocean to mix with it, and then he looked up and flashed the light towards the ceiling in order to determine from where he fell, which was far above him and where some portions of it were damaged, as he could tell he fell from there.
