CHAPTER 2

I quickly got up and took a shower. Then after taking a bath I fix myself, I wore a black tube dress with a slit and pair it with black high heels. After that I put a light make-up on my face. I just put a maroon lipstick, only once as necessary as today.

I looked at the mirror once again and leave my room immediately. When I got down, I immediately looked for Manang beth, the Head Maid in our house, in the kitchen. And I did not make a mistake when I saw her cutting spices to make the dish later.

"Manang beth I'm going to the bistro today, please just tell me about daddy and mommy. "

She looked at me and smiled. "All right Zoe, did Ma'am Sabina come here earlier?"

"Yes, it's Davina's birthday today so I was invited and I will eat there too."

I answered her with a smile. I was about to say something when suddenly a message popped up on my cellphone. I checked my phone and the message was from Sabina and she said in her text that they were all there and I was the only one missing.

I said goodbye to Manang and went to our garage. I drove my BMX smoothly and after 20 minutes I arrived at the bistro. There was no traffic so I got there quickly.

I parked my car and got out. I looked at the people coming in and out to see if I knew anyone and so far I did not see anything.

I entered the bistro and I was just at the entrance when I heard the loud sound of the speaker. I had a hard time finding them because of the drunk people dancing on the dance floor, I collided several times and fortunately there were people holding me when I fell down. The different colored lights also did not help, I looked around when I saw Eliot entering the VIP section and I think they are in VIP now.

I followed Eliot, a noisy surroundings opened up to me as I entered. I looked around and saw Sabina and the gangs not far from me.

Sabina are busy talking with Gabrielle while holding a glass of wine. Davina is busy catching up with others. While everyone in there busy drinking there wines.

I walked closer to them and

Sheena was the first to notice me.

"Hey gais, Zelicia Olivia Elisse Morgan is here." he stood up and approached me for notice.

The others followed him. Sabina and Davina are walking towards me and I think they left the person they were talking to to greet me. Wow, my social then. Lol.

"Did you arrive late Zoe girl ?." Davina said and kissed me. Sabina did the same.

"I fell asleep and woke up late. It's good I didn't forget. Just say Thank you because I'm here, don't ask too many questions let's just enjoy the Night."

Sabina rolled her eyes at me. oh, her attitude sucks sometimes.

"Come here Zoe sit down. The night is still young, we still have a lot of time to indulge in wines."

Davina led me to the chair where she had been sitting before. Oh, I forgot.

I confronted her. "Happy birthday Davina. I almost forgot, my gift is in the car and you will take it later."

She rolled her eyes at me. "I thought you forgot what you sent here." she sighed. "You're really crazy anytime." she added

I stared at her as she just laughed. I just shook my head.

Sabina gave me wine. Sabina was just in front of me while Davina was next to me.

I drank the wine that Sabina gave me, with a sore throat.

"Hey Zoe long time no see. How are you ?"

"Long time no see too Gab." I said smiling as I played with the wine I was holding. "And by the grace of god I'm fine."

"That's great then." she smiled and drank her wine. So am I.
