Invitation

It was 6pm when we decided to head back home. I was so excited to eat the pancakes mom prepared for dinner.

"Honey, will it be better to eat dinner meals for dinner rather than breakfast meals." Diether asked me.

"I suppose you are right. But breakfast meals are my preference. It is also ok if all of you will eat dinner at the house tonight. That would be exciting." I invited earnestly.

"This time, I'll pass.", Stella and Brithany said.

"Oh are you both busy tonight?"

"Yeah, we have plans with our families. We will be heading to Pampanga for the celebration.", Stella answered.

"How about you, Justine?" I asked.

"I am busy tonight but if it's for you then i will make time." Justine answered me with a smile.

"Ok then. Have a safe trip Stella and Brithany." I shouted as I wave them goodbye.

"I can finally meet your parents. ",Diether told me.

"That's kinda creepy Diether." I answered in laughter.

"I guess you are choosing Justine over me."

"No, you are misinterpreting me."

"That doesn't matter. I know that you like Justine so much. That's why you are so fond of retelling his creepy stories even if it is becoming boring for us. I think my instincts are right."

"Duh. Whatever.", I answered.

"So those blushy cheeks are for me?", Justine noticed.

"Would you guys please stop! Let's just eat dinner." , I replied.

"Come on babe, its just a joke." Justine insisted.

"I think tonight's gonna be fun." Diether said.

"Diether, let's just eat dinner. For sure, Honey's parents are now busy preparing it for us. " , Justine said.

At last, I was able to seize the moment when Justine finally said something with sense.

"Let's just hurry. My parents are probably at home cooking."

"Yeah. Yeah. We're thrilled."

"I'm sure you'll be happy to meet Dane, my sister. Donggo, too, our pet dog."

"That will be fun."
