Calhoun thought about how he felt towards Stella. He absolutely cared for her. He had no doubt about that. But he wasn't a fool to mistake care for love.

They sure had sparks flying around, but it was because of that stupid mate bond or soul bond. He always felt that he didn't love her as much as he loved fretting on his useless dragon.

"No. I don't feel that way towards Stella. I care for her, but my entire world doesn't revolve around her. And I feel a lot insecure when she is with other lords and princes. And it's the same with her."

Calhoun said and his tail broke another gold pillar. He didn't care about it anymore.

If this dragon has a problem with him not deeply in love with Stella, that it should come out itself and solve it's problem, instead of torturing him.
