Ch. 7 - Promise, Prime Wounds.

It was a 15-minute drive from Integration Primary School to the boulevard.

Arriving at the Boulevard apartment area, I drove the car to the basement of Building A and parked it there.

After getting out of the car, the three of us immediately entered the elevator and headed to the 21st floor.

We entered the apartment with unit number 17, where there's a balcony view on the left, facing the mountains. and a view on the right, facing the ocean.

Susan immediately went to the kitchen to cook, while Novia went to take a shower and then changed her daily clothes. while I sat in the living room watching the news on the television.

"Breaking News! A black Ranger Rover fell from the top of the steep cliff of Agung mountain into the valley below. until now, the police still cannot identify the victim because it has been charred into dust. it is suspected that the driver of the Ranger Rover was drowsy and lost control so that he broke through the roadblock and plunged freely..."

I took a deep breath and let it out with relief. I thought to myself.

"Alright, then I'll go out for a while and come back here to keep you company." I smiled.

After leaving the apartment, I entered the elevator and went down to the basement. took the car and drove to the fast food restaurant where Susan and I had eaten a while ago.

"Looks like he's arrived." James said quietly while looking at the exotic red car.

After getting out of the car, I immediately entered the restaurant and walked towards the old man James who was sitting in the corner of the room. accompanied by two of his loyal bodyguards standing by his side with standby position.

"Sorry to keep you waiting so long." I approached the three of them and shook hands. starting with James, then the bodyguard on the right.

When I was about to shake hands with the bodyguard on the left, he gripped my palm very firmly. The veins on the back of his palm stood out.

''Is he testing me?" I involuntarily said it in my mind. Then Luna said.

I suggested optimizing the situation with an indifferent expression.

James looked at Moji and both nodded. While Loji was still groaning in pain even though her wrist had been wrapped in a tear from the cloth she was wearing.

James walked out followed by Moji who pulled Loji out of the restaurant. the three of them got into the Hummer Jeep (newest type) parked in front of the restaurant. I also entered the Ferrari and started to follow the highway after their car.
