Raiden on the other hand, walked in, smiling to himself, anticipating the surprise on Hiro's face when he saw what he had brought. On the tray, steaming hot bowls of rice and miso soup sat next to delicate little cups of green tea, and a plate of grilled fish and pickled ginger waited to be devoured. He knew Hiro had a sweet tooth so he added some Mochi with his favorite fruit filling.
He placed the tray on the bedside table and his gaze landed on Hiro, who was huddled under the covers. The only thing sticking out was a part of his soft sandy brown hair which made Raiden smile. He moved closer, his hands itching to feel the strands against his palm. He didn’t want to wake Hiro up but it was already well over 10 am. Hiro had to wake up and eat so they could do the things he had planned for the rest of the day.
