18. Amazo

(POV General)

Superboy was going to ask Ivo if it was with him. But knew based upon the symbol on its chest was Shift who had transformed into one of his Alien forms.

Ivo stood there surprised and wanted answers only to hear Amazo speak.

"Access Superman"

And before Shift could speak Amazo had lifted Shift off himself throwing Him to the side.

To explain this we'd have to go back a few minutes. About five.

Upon entering Gotham on Shift's bike Kid appeared next to them in costume causing Robin to comment.

"You changed to?"

"You kidding can't work in my civvies."

Shift remained silent until an idea came to him after passing by a nearby cliff that was within jumping distance.

Robin noticed Shift's gaze on the cliff and joked.

"Yeah, a great idea let's jump the cliff of nothingness and hope not to die."

As if Robin's words were a cue Shift turned the bike towards the cliff increasing speed with every second.

"Whoa, Whoa dude calm down! I was only kidding."

This time Robins's words held no ground and Shift continued. Robin wasn't sure to jump and decided to play safe jumping off the bike giving it more speed and jumping into Kid's arms.

Who caught him without a sweat stopping at the end of the cliff and watching as Shift flew through the sky.

Shift was nearly on top of the train so Shift jumped off His bike landing right above the train and used His Right hand to this time hit the Omnitrix without distractions.

As the hand collided with the watch Shift screamed.

"Come on someone who can fly!"

At the hit of the watch and at the end of the transformation Shift felt obsessively heavier than normal and finally opened His eyes getting a blank expression towards his appearance.

'Not Clockwork Damnnn it!!!!'

Shift the now-turned Clockwork fell through the roof of the train landing on Amazo. Bringing everything to the present.

After being thrown off Amazo. Clockwork was sent through the Train car wall towards the wall of a tractor which was soon followed by SuperBoy hitting Clockwork's chest.

Without giving anyone the time to react Amazo grabbed both Clockwork and SuperBoy punching them across Gotham straight into Gotham high.

After connecting with the building both Clockwork and Superboy were hit by desks and chairs and once realization hit them Shift muttered.

"School?"

Soon enough SuperBoy got up and Amazo came back.

"Access Flash"

Without a second to react Amazo punched SuperBoy through the wall and was now aiming for Clockwork.

Right before Amazo locked contact with Clockworks face. Clockworks key began to turn sending a green energy field out and hitting Amazo. But seemed to have done nothing.

Amazo then connected the punch hitting Clockwork in the face. Stumbling through wall after wall until Clockwork passed SuperBoy and landed inside the gym.

Superboy was now faced with the Android and once made eye contact spoke out.

"That all you got?"

Amazo didn't take to SuperBoy's words and continued with His mission.

"Access Superman"

SuperBoy felt another punch landing in the gym with Clockwork if not a little far from each other.

SuperBoy after getting off the destroyed bleachers stood up seeing Ivo clap and speak.

"Oh, I wouldn't miss this for the world."

Suddenly the sound of breaking could be heard. The source Amazo. As he ran through the wall intending to hit SuperBoy nearly killing him.

If not for Kid Flash's save by picking him up in the nick of time.

Once carried out the way Robin soon appeared by Shift asking.

"What's the plan besides being Suicidal?!"

Clockwork finally spoke words after changing form between both Himself and Shift. Speaking in a voice combining both an Irish man and a robot.

"I need you all to distract it while I get ready."

Robin nodded and began to attack it as Amazo began to swift between access points from. Superman, Flash, Captain Atom, Red Tornado, Martian Manhunter, and Black Canary.

In the middle of the fight, Kid was caught in a Superman-powered bear hug which only lasted for about a second.

"Access Martian Manhunter"

Soon Amazo became see-through dodging an emerald arrow shot from afar.

Shift and Robin were the only ones to notice the arrow but instead of focusing on it only focused on the battle.

Clockwork's key began to turn rapidly until it resembled more of a spinning blade stopping time.

Clockwork first stood up which took a minute where once after Clockwork walked over to Amazo grabbing its head and smashing it under its gripe destroying Amazo's head.

Soon after Amazo lost its face time resumed with a surprised look on everyone.

During everyone's surprise, Ivo slipped away as Robin screamed.

"Someone help me disable him!"

Kid just sighed getting Robin's attention saying.

"Dude He has no head."

Aqua-Lad and MM soon appeared with Lad speaking as He ran to Robin.

"Let's not take that chance."

MM checked on SuperBoy who simply quoted Robin saying.

"Yeah, I'm feeling the Aster."

While everyone was talking Shift turned back to normal asking.

"Where's Ivo?"

Everyone soon looked finding no one there besides themselves.

Soon everyone returned to Mount Justice where Shift gave the intel regarding both the Android and Ivo.

This led to Batman talking about if there is ever a need for help the League would provide it.

Robin didn't believe Batman's words.

"Help please all you did was babysit us see!"

After showing the arrow Green Arrow who was in the room grabbed Robin's arrow and his own showing the arrowheads and how different they looked.

One only had one edge while Green Arrows had two.

After a quick deduction Aqua-Lad, Kid Flash, and Robin came to the conclusion that Speedy helped them.

Shift on the other hand saw Green arrow looked to Batman in disbelief. Leading shift to other possibilities.
