Fire Born in Rain
"Are you okay?" he asked David in a warm, caring voice.
David, still in his arms, looked at him surprised. His heart was pounding hard.
"Yes, thank you. It was close," he replied, returning to vertical.
"I'm glad I made it."
"Yes, me too. Thank you again. Uhm... you can let me go now."
Richard noticed that he was still holding David's shoulders. It was a masculine, caring gesture, the kind you use when you want to protect someone.
"Ah, sorry," Richard withdrew his hands. "I'm sorry, but your body... it's really pleasant to the touch. It's a shame..."
David's hard-beating heart also seemed to say that he regretted that Richard's strong hands had stopped touching him. Get a grip of yourself, he rebuked himself. This is just a temptation of the flesh. After all, you decided to be with Gustav.
