26 - A Devil?

The dining room inside the fortress at the city of Arkanglsk, it was nearing midnight as the Baron was seen slowly eating his supper.

Perhaps it was due to the thinking and plotting as the baron always takes his time before eating. Sometimes eating dinner way past midnight as he is without any sleep desperate for a way to save his last remaining child.

As the candle on the table was barely able to hide the darkness inside the room. The baron was eating porridge.

The food doesn't seem that good as the church had no plans to treat him well as they would rather see the man die of malnutrition but the baron didn't care much about death as he had only a single thing in his mind as that was to save his child.

As the baron was eating, a man escorted by two guards who were following this person entered the dining room.
