Chapter 83 The City Of Warriors Part 19

Yul's hand was tightly gripped on the grip of the sword, staring at the body parts being slowly assembled on the bed, while slowly drawing the sword from the scabbard on his back.

The head rolls toward the pillow while the limps slowly roll back to their original position. Slowly, one body part after another, slowly glued together. The dead soldier sat up slowly from the bed, swinging his legs to the side of the bed. The dead soldier sat on the bed for a while before slowly opening his eyes and staring at Yul, who was a few yards away from him. He reached under the pillow and drew out a sword. The dead man stands up with a sword in his hand, and rushes towards Yul.

Abrafo turned his head and saw the dead soldier rushing towards them. He said in a panic, "Oh... shit..." He grabbed the two door handles with both hands and pulled hard.

Yul raises his sword, blocking the dead soldier's swing. With his right hand clenched into a fist, he struck the dead soldier's left side fiercely, breaking his ribs; causing the dead soldier to hit the wall. However, the dead soldier stood up slowly, holding the sword in his hand, and walked towards Yul again. The dead soldier continued to advance towards Yul with his upper body tilted to the left and arched back.

Yul rushes forward and splits the dead soldier in half with a swing of his sword. Yul shakes off the blood on the sword and inserts it back into the scabbard on his back. He grabbed the corpse's two halves and dragged them toward the bed.

"Can you open that door?" Yul asked Abrafo.

Abrafo turned around and shook his head. "Can't open... are we locked by spell magic?" He asked Yul.

"That's the only possibility, because we can't get out of here," Yul said, walking towards Abrafo. "Let's find out what keeps us here."

Abrafo looked up and found that the two halves that Yul had just dragged to the bed had slowly stood up, and from where the body had split, new flesh began to grow rapidly, and arms and legs began to form.

Abrafo said in shock, "Yul, look behind you."

Yul quickly turned back to find that one soldier had turned into two dead soldiers. He reached for the sword again and said, "Abrafo finds a way to open the door now."

Yul grabbed a nearby table, turned it over, and placed it in front of Abrafo. Seeing the two dead men slowly stand in front of Yul, Yul knows that if Yul kills those two dead soldiers, the same thing will happen again and they will recover themselves, instead of two, he will now face four dead soldiers alone. His eyes locked on the two dead soldiers, but he didn't dare to take the initiative.

Lixin raised his sword to block Chen's sword attack, and at the same time swung his right foot forward, hitting Heng's shin, causing the Heng to kneel on one knee. Lixin hit Chen in the jaw with his right knee, knocking Chen to the ground. Heng and a third soldier lunged at Lixin. Lixin punched Shi hard in the stomach, knocked him down beside the bed, grabbed Heng, and threw him against the wall to the left.

Chen raised his sword again and stabbed forward, Lixin blocked Chen's sword, grabbed the grip of the sword with both hands, turned his body to the left to the back of the Chen, and hit Chen's neck hard with his left elbow. Lixin's elbow knocked Chen onto the bed.

Lixin grabbed the bed curtain, quickly wrapped Chen up, and pushed him onto the chair next to the dresser by the bed. He grabbed another bed drape and tied Heng's hands to one of the bedposts.

Shi got up slowly and rushed towards Lixin again, but instead of stabbing Shi, Lixin hit Shi on the side of the head with his scabbard, kicked Shi hard, and knocked Shi down on the bed next to Heng. Lixin leaped forward quickly, tying Shi's hand onto the same bed post as Heng

Lixin sat down at the door again, looking at the three wounded soldiers. He clearly remembered that there were only two soldiers with him when he entered the room, but now there are three. Shi was supposed to be guarding at the front gate with Hajime. Although Lixin was not sure whether these three soldiers were his own, but with his character, he was unwilling to kill these three soldiers who he thought were disguised creatures without conclusive evidence.

After resting, he got up and walked to the door. He opened the door just enough, but he found that the dust had dissipated a little, but not enough to get out safely. He sighed as Chen who was strapped to the chair screamed in pain.

Lixin hurriedly turned his head and found that a sword had pierced through the dresser and stabbed the side of Chen's upper arm. Lixin saw that the sword retracted into the dresser again, and the same sword stabbed out from the dresser once more. Afraid that the sword might hurt the defenseless soldier, Lixin quickly rushed forward and pulled the chair away from the dresser, preventing Chen from being attacked again. Lixin looked at the handle of the dresser that shook violently, as if someone wanted to break into the room. He was frightened so he quickly grabbed the table and pushed it onto the dresser to prevent the things locked in the dresser from getting out.

Yul kicks the dead soldier on the left towards the bed while his right hand raises the sword to prevent the sword from cutting off his arm. As the other dead soldier slowly stood up, Yul saw an arm on the floor that he had chopped off earlier, so he kicked that arm at the soldier, which hit the dead soldier in the chest.

Abrafo looked back at Yul, who was fighting two dead soldiers he couldn't kill. Abrafo pulled out his sword in a rage, and swung the sword twice at the door, but to his surprise, there was no scratch on the door at all.

Seeing that the door was intact, Abrafo stabbed the door with his sword angrily, shouting, "You piece of shit!" He pulled out the sword and was about to stab again but saw blood dripping from the tip of the sword. He turns to look at Yul. "Yul!"

Yul pushes the two dead soldiers away. "What?"

Abrafo said, "There's blood on the other side of the door."

Yul snorted and said, "Since we can't open the door, help me tie these two together and we'll find a way to open that door."

Yul swung his sword and beheaded a dead soldier. The body of the headless dead soldier slowly fell to the floor. Yul lunged his attacks at the other soldier. Yul cut off the soldier's head, and the dead soldier's body fell to the floor.

Abrafo, who had already cut off the bed drapes quickly bound the feet of the first dead soldier who fell. He stands up and tosses another drape to Yul.

After tying up the two soldiers and making sure they were safe and unable to escape, Yul and Abrafo continued to walk around the room looking for clues that could help them get out of the room they were trapped in, but after they searched the entire room, they found nothing suspicious.

Sitting on the bed, Abrafo said, " I give up. I'm exhausted. We have no food, no water, and no energy to continue fighting these two dead men." He looked at Yul.

Yul said, "We can only keep fighting these two guys for a while, but not always. We need to find a way out of here, but how?"

Abrafo lay on the bed and said, "I don't know, but if there is a way in, there must be a way out."

As soon as Abrafo lay down, the platform of the bed flipped over, and Yul found Ping and Hui asleep on the bed. He hurried over, trying to wake up the two soldiers. To his surprise, they were in a deep sleep.

Yul wonders why Ping and Hui are all blissfully asleep at this critical moment, and what happened to Abrafo.

Yul grabs Ping and Hui by the shoulders and shook Them. "Hey, wake up," he said. "Wake up... it's not time to sleep yet."

Ping and Hui yawned and began to stretch their arms.

"Where are we?" Ping asked, rubbing his eyes, and looking at Yul. "Hey Yul...how did you get into our room?"

Yul asked, "How many of you are there?"

"There were four of us, but he and I were asleep in the bed, Feng and Xiang sat at the table," said Ping, looking around the room. "Where is lord Lixin and the others?"

Yul said, "I don't know, but I know we have to get out of here."

Suddenly, Chen who was strapped to a chair fell through the front door. Ping and Hui jumped off of the bed quickly, and Yul spun around towards the bed, swung his right foot high and hit Chen on the side of his arm, causing Chen to fall to the ground. Yul draws his sword and points it at Chen's throat.

Chen groaned in pain and shook his head. "Captain Yul..."

Yul looked up to the door and saw that the front door was intact. "How did you pass through that door?"

Chen said, "That demon who disguised himself as Lord Lixin kicked me onto the dresser. I don't know how I got here."

Yul looked at the side of the soldier's arm and asked, "Are you bleeding?"

"I was stabbed by a sword coming out of the dresser," said Chen.

Yul looked at three soldiers, then at the door, and said in a low voice, "So that's how it works."
