The cave door burst open suddenly, and Baishui flew forward into the cave. Hajime reached into his cross bag and pulled out all the wooden figures he possessed. In his hands, he held three eagles, three wolves, and a black panther. He sighed and looked at the people around him. "We have too many people," Hajime said. "I don't have enough crafts to bring everyone to the city gate." He looked at Lixin. "Five of your men must return to the starting point and wait for us there."

"But we're not safe there," one of the men said.
