Chapter 100 Rapacious Part 1

U-ri and others watched helplessly as the stone soldiers began to crack and fall into the ground, while the city in front of them returned to its original appearance. He sighed deeply because he was worried about the people in the city. For now, he's not sure if his friends are safe. 

U-ri picked up his personal bag and said, "I'm going in." 

Kexin stood up and said, "Sir U-ri, I'll go with you." 

Jiāo quickly followed behind U-ri and Kexin and said, "You two don't want to go. We don't know the current situation in the capital." She grabbed Kexin's left arm. "My master has entered the city. My master will not put your people in danger." 

Baishui walked up to U-ri and said, "I know you are worried about your friends and the others, but with my father inside, your friends will be fine, so let us wait patiently for a while.  I believe they are safe now.  Maybe now they are coming to us." 

Baiwen said, "Besides, we don't know how dangerous this city is. Rather than rushing in impulsively, it's better to wait." 

Jin said, "My lady, you should listen to other people's opinions." 

Kexin said, "But..." 

Baishui said, "I know you two are worried, and so are we, but now, we have to wait. If they are really in danger, us brothers will rush in to save them." 

Jiāo said, "It's much safer for you two to be outside than inside the city walls." 

While the group of people were still discussing whether to wait for the others or go in, they saw Bailong walking from the city gate, with the others following behind him. 

A soldiers said, "My Lady, walking behind the others is Lord Lixin." 

Kexin turned around and saw Lixin walking towards her with the other soldiers. She ran forward to greet Lixin. "Brother!" she shouted happily, walking towards Lixin and the other soldiers. 

Abrafo shouted, "U-ri! We found Michio!" Abrafo turned and looked at Yul and Hajime. "Let's go find U-ri. See if he can help Hajime and you." 

Hajime looked up, but he couldn't see U-ri as the other had said. His vision became blurry. He knew he would pass out any minute now. In the past, no matter how much pain he suffered, the wound would heal quickly, and the pain would not last long, but recently he couldn't bear the pain. He didn't know what had changed, so everyone was happy when they saw U-ri standing not far from them; except for the waving figure, Hajime couldn't see any clear image. "I think I'm going to pass out," Hajime whispered, his body suddenly leaning to one side. 

Yul quickly grabbed Hajime's body and picked up Hajime and rushed towards U-ri. 

Standing not far from the crowd, U-ri saw what was happening, so he grabbed his bag and rushed towards Yul and Hajime. "What's wrong with Hajime?" He asked. 

Yul placed Hajime's body on the ground and found that Hajime had closed his eyes. "Hajime," he said softly. 

Hajime murmured, "I am still awake.  I just feel tired." 

Hearing Hajime's confirmation, Yul felt like a rock had been lifted from his shoulder. "U-ri will look at you," he said, pulling Hajime into his arms. He looked at U-ri. "Hajime's injuries are on his back and left arm." 

U-ri pulled Hajime's robe away from the wound, realizing that the wound was large and that nothing in the bag had the ability to repair Hajime's wound, but he also knew that if Hajime died, he would be resurrected, and Hajime had the ability to heal himself.  U-ri took out a clean white cloth, applied some medicine on Hajime's wound, and then bandaged Hajime's wound. 

U-ri said, "Let me see his left arm." He walked to Hajime's side, checked Hajime's left arm, and found that Hajime's left forearm was broken. "Yes, his arm is indeed broken." He looked around to see if there was anything that could help straight Hajime's arm, but found nothing, so he decided to wrap it up with a piece of cloth. "This should do for now." He stood up and grabbed his bag. "Hajime can heal on his own, so we don't have to take too much care of his wounds. When we get back to the village, I will boil him some medicine to help with his pain." He looked at Yul, Abrafo, and Michio. "Are any of you hurt?" 

Abrafo scoffed, "I'm totally fine, no scratches." 

U-ri saw the red handprint on Michio's neck and asked, "What about you?" 

Michio said, "I'm fine too." 

U-ri raised an eyebrow at Michio, not believing a word Michio said, so he asked again, "Are you sure?" 

Michio said, "Yes." 

Hajime groaned in pain, "Yul, help me up." 

Yul slowly helped Hajime up, just in time to see Baishui and Jiāo walking towards them. 

Baishui walked up to Hajime, smiled and said, "I think this is goodbye." 

Hajime asked, "You are leaving?" 

Baishui said, "I ran away from home and it's time to receive my punishment." 

Jiāo said, "The old master refused to let my master stay any longer, so we are going back to Dreake City." 

Baishui took out a white pendant from his robe and handed it to Hajime. "If you come to Dreake and get into trouble, this pendant will help you." 

Hajime took the pendant from Baishui and said, "We promised U-ri, that after completing the mission, we would definitely take him to Dreake City." 

Baishui said, "I wish you a safe journey and see you next time." 

Jiāo said, "Take care everyone." 

The group of people watched Baishui and his family turn into their dragon form. Jiāo climbed on Baishui's back, and Baishui turned around and roared loudly at the group of men, then flew up after the other dragons. 

Jiāo waved to the people below, and they waved back at her. She wiped her tears and said, "Ninth Prince, will we meet them again?" 

Baishui said, "As long as we are alive, we will meet again one day." 

Abrafo looked at Hajime and found Hajime's eyes wet with tears. He stretched out his hand and poked Hajime's cheek. "Are you crying?" he asked. 

Hajime sad sadly, "I don't have many friends in my life, so when good friends like Baishui and Jiāo came along, it's hard not to be a little touched when saying goodbye." He turned to look at Lixin and his soldiers. "Good friends are hard to find, especially friends who are willing to walk with you despite knowing that the road is full of dangers. Such friends are the friends you should cherish." 

Yul said, "If you need us one day, we will be there to help you in any situation." 

Hajime took out a pouch from his cross bag and took out a green scale. He walked up to Lixin, grabbed Lixin's right hand, and put the green scale on Lixin's hand. Hajime said, "I got this scale from Yul's ex-lover." 

Yul turned to look at Hajime and said madly, "She is not my lover." 

Hajime smiled and said, "Well, anyway, this mythical creature has been cultivated for thousands of years, and its scales are quite powerful. If you want to use it, you only need a drop of human blood." 

Lixin looked at Hajime standing in front of him with a warm smile on his face. "Thanks," he said, tucking the green scale into his belt. 

Abrafo said, "Let's get out of the forest. I still have to collect the debt owed to us by the swanky chief." 

When everyone reached the edge of the forest, Saja and his men were still guarding the tree line. As soon as Abrafo saw Saja and his group, he rushed forward, but his arm was grabbed by Lixin. 

Lixin said, "Charging to death, it fits your name." He pushed Abrafo away and looked at the person standing in front of him. "I thought you wouldn't wait so long for us." 

Saja said, "What did you do?" 

Abrafo sneered, "We have never done anything to harm others, unlike you..." 

Saja asked, "Is the witch still alive?" 

Michio said, "Lady Lan, is not a witch. Lady Lan and the others have already left." 

One of Saja's men looked at Michio and asked, "So, does this mean this forest is no longer  curse?" 

Yul asked, "Why do you think this forest is cursed?" 

The man said, "People have said for generations that the forest is curse." 

Hajime asked, "Then why don't you let us enter the forest?" 

Saja said, "We are trying to save your life." 

Abrafo said, "By poisoning us? Do you know how ridiculous you sound right now?" 

Yul said, "From now on, this forest is no longer curse. You can enter the forest at will." He looked at Saja and Saja's men. "Don't you want to go into the forest?" 

Saja said, "We don't believe you." 

Abrafo said, "Believe it or not, it's up to you, but if you try to poison us again, I will kill you." 

Lixin stepped forward and said, "He doesn't dare." 

Michio asked, "How come?" 

Lixin said, "Because my soldiers guard his village." 

Abrafo burst into laughter. He pointed at Saja and said happily, "This time the joke is on you." He stared at Saja.  "I'm going to use your own poison on you, so you know how it feels to be helpless." 

Saja looked at Abrafo, his face darkening. 

Seeing the five Tanzanies talking to Saja without any awareness, Lixin chuckled, turned to Chao and nodded. Lixin said, "Let's go back to the village and rest." 

Chao grabbed Jin's arm and pulled Jin away, allowing the others to walk past them. Jin asked, "What is it?" 

Chao said, "Lord Lixin ordered you to capture Sir U-ri as our hostage." 

Jin looked at Chao confusedly, "What?" 

Chao said, "They have the keys we need." 

Jin said with a heavy heart, "But..." he sighed. "Alright...when?"
