Chapter Ninety Nine .. street food

"Oh my God mummy ! You are the best .When next will we come for biking and hiking again ? "Suzzy asked jumping around like a kid .

"Whenever you want baby ,you know I'm thinking of taking you to France .That way you will not only enjoy the biking and hiking expeditions but you will also get inspiration to paint after visiting the Louvre .

It's the museum that harbours the finest artwork in the world .

It was once a fortified palace that was the home of Kings of France and now the Louvre is now the world's most famous Museum renowned for some of the finest pieces of art in the world including the Venus de Milo and the Mona Lisa paintings ."Eloise told Suzzy who was sleeping on her laps in the grasses .

"I can't wait to go to France but now I'm very hungry mummy , let's go and find some food to eat ."Suzzy groaned like a kid .

"I think I know where we can go baby , let's just go there and I know you will love it ."Eloise drove straight to Tacos Alpha & Omega where the best Mexican tacos were made .

It was a street food and that was what made it so special .

"We are here baby ,welcome to Tacos Alpha & Omega .

The best Mexican street taco food ."Eloise said happily and hopped out of the car with Suzzy .

"Tacos ? Oh my God ! mummy ,you are the best . You know how much I like street Mexican tacos .

The aroma from the tacos is just killing me ,you know what ,I will go and prepare my own tacos ."Suzzy ran to the digital board and began to make her preferences for her tacos .

"Make sure you don't include shrimps and nuts to your preferences because you are allergic to them baby ."Eloise said to Suzzy's hearing while she checked the next street vendor for her favourite chicken ,meat and beef quesadillas .

"Oh my God ! what do we have here ? "Suzzy asked herself looking at the ingredients on the digital board .

"Okay , let's choose some hard taco shells and some soft corn .

Also ,ground beef ,pork ,chicken and some lobsters will fit perfectly for my taco meats .

Umm ! I think some black beans and refried beans won't spoil my meal either .

Alright then ,let me go in for some shredded cheese , lettuce , onion and Pico de Gallo .

That's it ,I'm all set and done .All I need is to press enter and my tacos will be delivered to me in just ten to fifteen minutes ."Suzzy prepared her tacos and in ten to fifteen minutes later ,she received her tacos .

"By the way , where's mummy ? "Suzzy asked as she didn't see her mother around .

She became more nervous and so she didn't even have a bite of her tacos .

"Tacos are supposed to be eaten when hot and not cold ,so finish it now before I add it up to my quesadillas and finish it off ."Eloise said from behind with two slices of quesadillas in her hands .She sat by Suzzy who hugged her once she saw her .

"Now that you are here ,I can eat my tacos in peace .

Oops! these are so good ,I will never forget today ever .

Street foods are the best !"Suzzy said and finished off her slice .

"Now that you are here with me in Claremont ,we will visit the Claremont Village Square Plaza so that you can have the feel of their Mexican foods and drinks as well .

Also ,you will see all those malls ,bread spots ,smoothies ,coffee shops and boutiques and you will be able to choose what you want to eat and wear . That's why I had you eat one slice of the taco so that you don't get full before you get to the village plaza ."

Eloise and Suzzy drove off to the village plaza .

"Oh lalala ! Since we are now here , I'd first like to taste that sesame bread that's been freshly baked at the bread spot near the coffee shop ."Suzzy told Eloise and they walked over there .

"Mr , give us two of your sesame breads ,one filled with cheese and the other with chocolate ."Eloise said to the salesman .

In less than a minute ,their breads were ready ,Eloise handed the one with cheese filling to Suzzy and ate the one with the chocolate filling .

"It's really good mummy ,but I can't have more other wise ,I can't eat anything anymore .

Let's go have some coffee mummy since we are already in front of the coffee shop ."The duo happily entered the coffee shop .

The waitress came to attend to them right away upon seeing them enter .

"One cup of café au lait for my daughter and one cup of cappuccino for me ."Eloise ordered and the waitress brought it no time .

"Café au lait has always been my favourite since it's prepared from coffee and steamed milk and I'm glad you still remember it ."Suzzy took a sip of her coffee .

"How can I forget what my baby likes ,huh ?

I clearly remember every one of your favourites my baby and I will never forget them .

Do you remember the cardillac margarita and the mango margarita we both used to have on your birthday whenever I took you to San Antonio , Texas ? "Eloise asked Suzzy while sipping her coffee as well .

"How will I forget that ? After having the mango margarita ,I even used to eat the Japanese vinegared rice sushi which was prepared from vinegared rice ,sugar ,salt , seafood and raw vegetables .

I even remember that because I'm allergic to shrimps ,you have them replace the seafoods of my sushi with prawns and lobsters .

What about that ? Do you miss eating it ,already ? "Suzzy asked Eloise .

"Come with me .."Eloise pulled Suzzy to the Casa Moreno Mexican Restaurant .

"This is what I was talking about ,we can still have our favourite margaritas over here .

The legendary Cardillac Bar which has it source from Nuevo Laredo ,Mexico is right here also in village plaza ."Eloise happily said to Suzzy .
